Another play from the defunct Salopette playlist captured in January 2025. Clip is 1h36. Lady and young man in white bibs. I think few (good) scenes. Some kids acting but not in bibs. Uploader Amport & Monxton Pantomime. These cities are west from London near Andover. 

He had some more Hansel and Gretel plays including Hänsel and Gretel 2015 (Uploader Purchase Opera). Mainly or only grown-ups I think ladies as Hansel. One sitting in blue bibs, some good scenes. I haven't captured in then but just found it. Coming soon. (Also brief scenes of a man).

The older girl in pic 1 is either Polina Aynutdinova (Полина Айнутдинова *Oct 2013) or Eva Danilko (Ева Данилко* Nov 2013 as Katya) both looking even older to me. Both also appearing in bibs or shortalls in earlier series on in Киберпапа (2024) and other in Анна медиум (2021).

The younger girl might be Ekaterina Chervova (Екатерина Червова *2014 as Sonya) or less likely Elisa Rudenko (Алиса Руденко * 2015) and her shortalls might be the best pair. Not sure about the names. I think there are 2 younger or at least smaller girls (not in bibs). 

Elisa Rudenko appeared in red corduroy bibs or similar 2025 in Сокровища гномов. And sitting in faded shortalls 2024 in Первый класс.

Ekaterina Cherova in brown bibs in 2024 film The Wizard of the Emerald City (Волшебник Изумрудного города: Дорога из жёлтого кирпича). Helpful site with pics is Kinorium.

Update 3: Neighbours (1985)

 

As announced ep 866 and I later found much more. I first only found some tiny caps on a fansite called neighboursepisodes (in search for a yet unknown upload of a UK sitcom). Now I have checked this episode. Sally Jensen *1977 as Katie Landers in raw denim bibs. Low back, detachable suspenders with splitted straps and 4 buttons on front. Hand sometimes in pockets. Pic at 7, rear view (partial ?) outside at 16. Also sitting, but I don't recall that.

I think I will check some more (early) episodes. But I can't check more than 9k episodes and 76k pics on IMDb.

Searching for just this character on the fansite I found her (mainly in raw denim bibs, different shirts) sitting in bibs in ep 768, standing in ep 858, 894, 927 (sitting), 957, 961, kneeing in 981, 987, 1002, 1003, sitting floor and couch 1011, 1018, 1031, 1041, the young man Peter O'Brien sleeveless shirt in ep 689, another young man, Henry Ramsay shirtless in ep 719 and also later in shirts.

Other scenes: Sally in bikini in ep 888.

I later searched for character Toby Mangel and found not him but in 1990 ep 1229 girl Lochy McLachlan (played by Amber Kilpatrick) in blue bibs, man Joe Mangel in ep 1280, lady Kerry Bishop in ep 1285 (also outside I think wet), blonde girl, Phoebe Bright in ep 1669.

I will later search for character Todd Landers (but I doubt finding him in bibs). 

Rating ~5-6 for now, hoping for more actors and even better scenes.

Kid host 11 yo Eric Schnecko, later called Eric Sneo also was host of a similar show Alles Banane (1991-1992) girls rating 3. In Dec 1984 he also co-hosted "Kinderhitparade im ZDF" but I think no bibs scenes there. 

Very similar was 1992-1992 the RTL Kinderhitparade, also see my clips rating up to 4 (girls) and much higher rating (maybe 10) for boys, some in shiny shorts and great songs.

Maybe there were more cover images (and/or pics inside) in this and or other magazines. He was a child and teen star in the 70s and 80s. It's possible that he also appeared in TV shows in bibs. But if so then as late teen, around 15-(16) yo and very tall. He also was a singer. Date of cover unknown, probably ~1980. (Born mid 1965)

In the mid 70s he appeared in simple, faded bibs (low back) in series above (1976) and 1974 in Kli-Kla-Klawitter, both rating 3 for bibs. Also nice 1982 in Manni, der Libero (was on my shiny shorts blog along others, rating was ~6 ?). I have him in Brennendes Geheimnis (1977) in Lederhosen on my other blog (rating 5). He wore rare bibs in Hilfe, die Verwandten kommen (1971) as ~6 yo, no entry here, but on my Lederhosen blog. Most famous in series Timm Thaler (1979) but not in bibs nor Lederhosen.

I have uploaded another clip(s). As said junior firefighters of a German boarding school in ep 5 and 6. Combined 2 clips (in clip 4) of ep 7, 8 and 6. Scenes starting at 9. One more clip to come (SU or MO). First clip was in 360p widescreen, new clips are 480p fullscreen (due to mixed contents, but series is in widescreen).

Other scenes include swimming (underwater) indoor soccer, bunk beds, and others about living in a boarding school. Aired in 2008.

Update: Flipper (1995)

db1 suggested this, with re-occuring boy and girl in bibs. Thanks very much! I already had a post since 2018, teen girl rating 4. I first found some pics on IMDb and then have roughly checked all the 88 episodes I found and still haven't found any scenes of a boy. Almost all clips are cropped widescreen and so bibs and especially their length is hard to find.

Update 3: The Fields (2011)

I have now re-checked again this movie (at high speed). There are (at least) 2 quite good rear views, one pictured in a barn and one when being embraced (latter one even better). I have deleted the original caps and don't recall the time codes.

I think there are no or no notable full front views.

Rating ~3 was correct. Movie itself maybe a bit higher for good setting and plot.

I have some caps left from Laurent's previous Salopette playlist. Most I already had. Some I don't like much. But this is quite good. Boy barefooted sitting in bibs. Also sitting on the floor, cross legged and standing. Playlist is deleted. Clip is still up, 2'11. Ottawa, Canada.

I already had an entry (I didn't recall), rating 3-(4) but did a new check and found new scenes and another episodes. Pic 1 is also from ep "Feuerwehr vs. Trampolin" (s2e4) both 12 yo boy and girl also without jackets, but rather few scenes. Boy also sliding down a pole and climbing up a ladder (both at 17) but with jacket. Also some few others f/m (some maybe teens) at the beginning but in jackets.

Pic 2 a girl sitting in shortalls in ep "Bahnrad vs. Judoka" at 8. Brief scene as well.

Girl in pink bibs, shortalls or dress, but I haven't found her in the episode (if so then maybe just headshot). Skispringen vs. Chor (s3e11).

Another 10 yo girl in faded shortalls in ep Kochen vs. Erste Hilfe (s3e2). Very brief scene.

Available on the ardmediathek. 3 episodes aren't available at all. Probably due to personal rights claims. Uploads are blocked on YouTube. But I don't assume more bibs scenes (besides racing, surfing and skiing coveralls). I haven't checked them all.

For the brief bibs scenes rating 3-4. I don't like much white bibs. Quite good movie though. I haven't found a DVD but VHS only.

Another rating 3 re-upload. Rating was 3-4. Drake Bell (*1986) as Hillbilly Eenie in Hillbilly Moment segments barefooted and shirtless in faded, quite baggy bibs and a straw hat, usually grabbing his own straps. Also girl and lady. I had some more but poor pics. Pic 1 on left Amanda Bynes (not in bibs). I think pic 1 from ep 5 (probably s1e5), Drake ~13 yo. I still haven't seen all episodes. At least a teen girl (audience sitting). From my VHS collection. Very brief scene. In fact I have just this. I don't have the full shows. 10 episodes. Comedy vacation show. 1998 Germany.

Rating for this scene ~3-4. Might be higher if having more scenes or more persons.

I have checked most/many parts of this movie. (There was no preview window). As assumed rather few scenes in the later movie. Pics 1+2 (1 as on IMDb) at 38. Playing I think Football, same boy as in pic 3, first without jacket front and then (or earlier) with jacket rear at 52. Unpictured: Climbing up a fence rear view without jacket at 46 (same boy).

Rating 3-(4) was correct. Too few good scenes for rating 4. Most or all scenes are brief, especially of the 2 boys in pic 1. I haven't re-checked the beginning this time.

I recently found a pic of Drew Barrymore (*1975) on IMDb. Poor quality, so I wasn't sure if these are bibs or a matching shirt. But after watching I confirmed (simple) faded bibs (buttoned straps shown at a headshot). Open jacket (probably that's why I previously missed this), no or no notable rear views or sitting scenes. Released early 1986, so she was ~10 yo.

By coincidence I'm currently watching E.T.

Clip is called s2e2. Maybe a DVD set had a wrong order.

The Ray Bradbury Theater - s3e10

 

I'm currently re-checking this series and found 2 more episodes. Here an older teen boy in bibs. I noticed 2 very brief scenes. One running out ouf the orphanage (pictured) and a bit later standing (distance). Front views only.

Also starring Josh Saviano (The Wonder Years (1988)), not in bibs. I think 50s or early 60s setting. YouTube clip called s4e10.

For the brief scenes rating ~2-3. Great setting and actors though.

I like Ray Bradbury's stories. My favourite here The Black Ferris. Also great and similar Something Wicked This Way Comes (boys rating 8).

So rating ~3-(4). Movie maybe higher. (Around 5). Folk horror based on a Slavic fairy tale/mythology. Lady Midday. Nice for Halloween.

Thanks to Anonymous for a comment! He found 4 more scenes of the teen boy, including a rear view and the faded pair. I haven't found pink bibs, just the pink dress. By coincidence, I found a teen girl in rare bibs with the hooks on the rear. Almost looking like if she wore them backwards. On front the straps are fixed. Pics 1+4 at 7h47.

Pic 2 at 7h32 (brief scene, faded), pic 3 at 3h31 (brief scene mainly/only rear incl more close-up), pic 5 at 5h16 (2 longer scenes). It's still possible that we missed scenes/actors. Search is difficult with this long clip. Maybe I have to check the separate episodes. Another scene at 4h18 is I think just a headshot (raw denim). He also looks good in the tan bibs and the red hair with a cap. Nice headshots. 

He looked better 1 or 2 years ago. I have to check more earlier movies/series if having bibs as well.
