At the intro of season 8 there is a young girl (Leonie Benice Baeßler, *1993) who might wore bibs under pullover and jacket. Men in orange/red coveralls (lifesaver ?) in s8e7.

Previously mentioned: Old lady and men in bibs in s6e4 and an old man in beige bibs like in s8e9 and also season 7. Young lady/teen girl and young man in s6e1, pic 2. 

Other scenes: new actors, boy in swimwear in s6e5 and 6, young lady in short-sleeved surf suit in s6e5. Some few scenes are missing, maybe available under other titles including other foreign dubbed versions.

Great, but I think very few scenes. I haven't checked all episodes, roughly 4 episodes. At least another lady (or maybe the same, lady on right looks like mom Andrea Shroder) in dark bibs at the beginning of ep 1, pic 2.

Rating at least ~6-7. I don't like much stripes.

 

Sweden Channel 5 trailer 1999

The first clip I found on the mentioned blog Nostalgorama (School books).

Update 3: Growing Pains

 

I found 2 more episodes with Tracey Gold in different pairs. All with belts. Pic 1 from s1e13 rare pair, I think thin stripes with darker legs on front only. I found this style in other 70s/80s series, last time here.

Pic 2 from s1e17, a dark pair. Also sitting, but rather few scenes, sitting often with legs angled. And no or no notable rear views. But better and more scenes than above.

I haven't searched for other episodes yet, but already found another, young girl in s3e26 (1988).

Available on the Swedish broadcaster but inside Sweden only. On archive.org there are I think only screenshots. Pic from another channel (PB-SSE), there are ep 2 and 5. 2 is pictured, colors I made a bit brighter. Are even darker. Boy is kneeing. No scenes found in ep 5.

Books 148: update school books Gena

At a closer look the kid with the red sweater obviously wearing tight bibs and is maybe the same as in the previous b&w pic. Here it looks maybe like a boy. I found another pic of 2 boys cycling barefooted (b&w no bibs, Gena 1 Studiebok A 1982, one could be the boy in yellow). For the link of the full, high res pic see the previous post.

Books 147: School books / videos

 

During research for a recent Swedish clip, I found an interesting blogspot blog called Nostalgorama. He/she has many embeddings from Swedish clips including that from Introkungarna, but also others. Maybe he/she is one of them. I still haven't checked them all, posts 2013-2025. The site needs much time and memory for clips to be loaded. 

Pic 1 is from book Gena, later called Nya Gena. Gena is short for geografi och naturkunskap, so geography. The book pictured is Nya Gena 1 Studiobok B from 1982. Maybe a girl. Publisher Natur & Kultur (Natur och kultur) previously Pilot Oä. Book series since 1972 (or 1970). There is a nice color cover boy/girls but not in bibs (update, probably one wore bibs, maybe the same here, might be a boy). Maybe there are some more good pics inside? I haven't found (full) scans/PDFs.

Pic 2 is from different ELT books, I found myself. Top left Beehive American 4 (Oxford University), top right Link It 2e 1, Student book page 1, bottom Lighthouse Advanced Level 3 (Cornelsen). All courses have videos. But not sure if they have all of them pictured. Top right very likely.  

I was sure that the Lighthouse Video DVDs would be published in June 2026. But this DVD (white cover) should have been already released in June 2024. I confound this with the main series access (books with digital media, probably same clips) which will indeed be released in 2026. I had very good experiences with earlier editions of Lighthouse/access (Levels 1+2), expecially on my ELT blog. I also have here and there other ELT courses linked above f/m rating up to 6. Another good one with confirmed clip, sitting teen girl, coming soon.

I found the end on one of my VHS. Luckily, I had the name of the director, otherwise I wouldn't have the title. 

Bibs and actress and plot aren't that bad. But due to the quality of the bibs scenes rating ~4 only. Movie itself ~5-6.

Also at least an old man in green working bibs in ep 68 (s8e2). 

Looks interesting and maybe there are more in bibs. Series is a spin-off of Unser Charly. She also appeared there in s7e0 as same character.

Update: Jauche und Levkojen (Nirgendwo ist Poenichen)

Searching for another unknown upload of mine (turned out to be Mrs. Harris 1982-1991 with a boy in speedos), I found another nice YouTube channel (Rita Hansen) mainly having German and UK DVDs. This is Nirgendwo ist Poenichen, which is season 2 of saga Jauche und Levkojen. Pic again from ep 2 Zum Eyckel, set in 1945. Also in at least one other episode (ep 1). There also shirtless with open bib at least rear view at a lake or similar.

Also a man (open jacket) in ep 14 set later, 50s or 60s. I haven't checked the full series.

At least 2 other series with girls (Die glückliche Familie) and Follyfoot Farm, coming soon.

I also found the first boy in Unser Charly, but a toddler in s6e13 (sitting in faded bibs, no need for a pic). Also the teen girl in another pair and older men and lady. Coming soon. Also a young lady in a related series or spin-off.

Update 2 : Unser Charly - season 4-5

 

I've checked some more episodes. Another, similar red haired actress as Sandra, this time Kaya Marie Möller (*1985) also in great dark blue, quite baggy bibs. Even better. But still few and brief scenes. Pic 1 from s5e1 (1999). Also in same pair in s5e4 (brief scene standing up at 28, without jacket).

Unpictured: men from THW (Technisches Hilfswerk) probably in light grey bibs but closed jackets in s4e11. I think some more men and I think firefighters (unknown if bibs).

Update: Unser Charly - season 1-3

 

I now have checked seasons 1-3. 13 seasons to come. I first found Marie-Luise Schramm also briefly in s1e1 in probably another greenish pair (not sure if bibs at all). Pictured is Susanne Scherbel (*1983) one of the main characters in great blue bibs in s2e10. Around 13 yo but looking younger. Sitting but also standing front and rear view. I like the rear view, so rating 6 (at least) was correct. In total few scenes yet.

Unpictured Susanne Scherbel also sitting/lying outside in s3e8. Old man in beige bibs in same episode.

Other scenes: Shirtless teen boy in shorts (Mike Zobrys ?) in s3e11. Younger boy with blond bowlcut in s1e5.

Le portrait (1999), Update: La croix du Fau

Thanks once more db1! He pointed out that "La croix du Fau" (2002, previously rated 5) is now on YouTube. I have roughly checked the movie several time but couldn't find any bibs scenes. Man in coveralls. Maybe I missed a very brief scene? But I don't think so. Nice rural setting and farm scenes but the movie itself is also quite poor.

I currently haven't found the headshot anymore, site obviously defunct. I have to search for my backups. It was a suggestion then.

OM (1978) update 3: Hopperi och hoppsansa

Another one, from the Swedish channel Introkungarna. It's also from the serie OM but not titled with it. 1984 episode. Mainly 2 brief scenes at the end sitting, cross legged. Previously also walking, starting in the middle. 

There's a shorter clip from someone else, missing these scenes (and OM title).

Boy is even younger than appears, maybe 6 yo. And very few (good) scenes.

So rating ~4-5.

Update 12: Tom Turbo (1993)

There weren't any bibs scenes shown for a long time on the weekly 2 re-broadcasts. Last real bibs (boy in purple) were I think 1.5 years ago. Again girl Fanny in great bibs. Maybe this was her first appearance. Also grown-ups in silver shiny coveralls. Not sure about the order of broadcasts. Episode: Die UFO-Oma. Ep. 235 season 9 (2002). Aired last Sunday, available on the ORF Mediathek for 5 days. 

Also sitting (distance, garden chair), some brief rear views and sliding down a tube slide. Briefly checked. I have her in several other episodes (so no need for more pics), rating 7 (boys also rating up to 7). Fanny in updates 2, 4, 6, 7, best maybe in update 7.

Meanwhile the feature film Tom Turbo – Von 0 auf 111 is available on YouTube. I think no bibs. I also have to check for new books, but I think they are reprints of the OOP books. Related later book series is Fritz Fantom, there are now at least 4 books and other merchandise, but probably none of interest (I think no photos but drawings aimed at younger kids).

Title means Boy in Oak tree. Aka "Barn under samma himmel". Director and script by Åke Sandgren ("Kådisbellan" The Slingshot 1993), Producer Bert Sundberg ("Barnens detektivbyrå (1991)" girl rating 4). No entry on IMDb.

Shown on a not named festival with 30 movies. Few dialogues are inteded.

Webfinds/Book (VHS ?): In Touch

Recently, I found this 3 level ELT course, I think primary course from Pearson Longman, ca 2001. In the book "In Touch 2", there is this pic of a girl called Kim in shortalls on page 66 and a girl headshot on page 112 (different colored straps, girl Anita a bit older about Iceland). The same pics are I think in course Friends. At least for the latter one is a VHS Friends in London. Also check my ELT blog, but I haven't found much info about that VHS.

"The Londoners" is a subseries in the book (and maybe VHS) consisiting of 2 boys and 2 girls including Kim and Jenny pictured. All shown on page 6. Screenshots are usually used in the books, but not sure about this one. The VHS should be about 2 friends. Might be Kim and another girl Vicky. That is likely for several reasons. They are also on audio CD at least for level 3.

There is also a combined CD pack for both courses, probably audio CD and not CD-ROM. Terms are usually confusing; DVDs are usually DVD-ROMs. And often there are additional online clips and pics (at least for more recent courses). The courses here are OOP and replaced with Wider World, girls rating 5. I have some more courses here and on my other blog. Best is GoGetter (teen boy rating 5).

-Comment: Yesterday, I did some research for about 1 hour but haven't found much. IMDb has an entry (1978-1985). But they only have 2 episodes one from 1978 and one from 1985. Utbildningsradion maybe started in 1978, but I found confirmed earlier episodes by TRU, as mentioned before. At least since 1973. TRU was founded in 1967, and I assume that they did OM right from the beginning (in b&w). 

To find the exact date, amount of episodes etc, it would require extensive research online and offline and knowledge of Swedish. (Can anybody help?) But I usually take the IMDb date anyway (although wrong) to better find that entry.

Pic from the announced clip Informationsprogram om vårens OM-program 1979. Originally from ep OM - jag skulle ta med nallen eller, aired Feb 1979. Plot is about a sleepover. Played by deaf kids and grown-ups.

Update: OM (f/m) rating 5-6

 

I have checked all episodes I found on this great Swedish channel by Introkungarna. OM means "about". Aka OM-program. And there's also a series "Om OM", which is an info or trailer 5 minutes. The earliest clip I found is from 1973 (b&w, another one in color, no bibs), the most recent one from the mid or late 80s. So a long running series (maybe still running I found some modern clips), and probably many old episodes still missing. Research is difficult with this title. Channel UR Utbildningsradion. There's always a "-" between OM and the episode title without space. There were books and or magazines (OM Tidningen). I haven't found it yet on either IMDb nor worldcat.

Beeing a pre-school series, there are also some older kids. Maybe ladies and men as well.

Update: I have briefly checked all 5 ep. One boy, maybe the same at the end of ep 3, brief scene, walking and sitting on the shoulders of a man. Best is ep 4 as pictured. Maybe more scenes but with pullover and jackets.

OM - hur man bygger en kamera (series OM f/m)

During research for my ELT blog, I found a rare episode of the 1974 adventure series "Here We Come" (see my other blog but no bibs at least not in that episode). That uploader Introkungarna has some more vintage stuff from Swedish TV (channel UR Utbildningsradion). Different producers Berith Oxelbeck (this ep).

Clip is called  Hur man gör en kamera. Clip says OM-hur man bygger en kamera. OM is obviously a series, M maybe for magazine? He has several more episodes. Boy and girl or maybe 2 boys in ep OM - Hur man gör TV (1982) pic 2. Girl in orange bibs and man in blue in ep OM - Tripp, trapp, trä (1976). Maybe the best yet, pic 3. Later I found a kid, probably boy (Frans Berglund) sitting in blue and I think red in ep OM - Jacobs tofflor (1978).

He also has some more interesting 70s/80s stuff, but I haven't checked them all yet. Looks like a blonde girl at the end in Jakob Dunderskägg (1973).

Girl is too young, lady too old and has an open jacket. But there might be some good scenes(?).

Rating ~3 for now. 

 

Die WG (2009) season 22 (Die Jungs-WG)

 

There's a new season of Die Jungs-WG running on Kika called Pistengaudi im Pitztal. Season is still running. In ep 5 "Ski und Shopping" there's a teen boy in snow bibs and  teen boy Luke (half US American, the only boy of interest) in a costume with short green bibs. Also very young kids in ski pants, at least one are pants with suspenders, maybe some in coveralls or bibs.

Most of the 5 boys are quite old or looking older and most have foreign origins. The only season I like very much is season 3 of boys (now season 5) Ohne Eltern in den Schnee, Tyrol 2013.

Now called and combined boys and girls as "Die WG", I have season 7 Sommer. Sonne. Elternfrei. (boys rating 5) and re-uploaded that pic. 

I have 2 seasons of Die Mädchen-WG (teen girls) I think season 3 (season 6 of Die WG) and season 4 (season 8 of Die WG) rating up to 4, and die wohngemeinschaft 2018. Also related Das erste Mal ... (teen boy and girl) seasons USA and Asien (and Indonesien, Vietnam linked there) girl rating up to 7! 

For this for now rating ~2-3. Tuesdays on Kika 20h10. Also on the mediathek of Kika and ZDF and on YouTube. Currently 6 episodes, but there will be I think 2 more. 

 

Update 3: The Edison Twins (f/m)

 

Yesterday, I have roughly checked all 5 seasons. I haven't found any other bibs scenes. So by coincidence I have found them all or at least the notable scenes by checking some very few random episodes. At least some racing coveralls (I think men and women) and maybe snow bibs (boys, maybe also girls and grown-ups but with closed jackets).

So I think rating 5-(6) was correct. It's possible that I missed scenes.

Thanks db1 for suggesting Drexell's Class for the 2nd time and The Edison Twins for the 3rd time. 

I have completely checked all episodes of Drexell's Class 1 1/2 year ago and uploaded up to 8 pics. If you know of even better pics, especially of Matthew Lawrence please tell me the episode number. I can't post pics of every scene of all actors though.

The Edison Twins have indeed new uploads. Usually I don't re-check all my posts, especially if I already have pics. There are 5 seasons and I haven't checked them all yet. Pic 1 from s4e7 (also rear view), pic 2 from s1e6 (girl in cotton bibs) also cycling in s1e4, pic 3 from s1e12.
