Info 5: Haydaze - episode 5 - pics

I found snapshots from episode 5 (Mad as Meat Axe/ Das verrückte Kalb).
The image size is smaller, showing that these aren't caps from a DVDr. But probably from a digital clip, I also made some SVCDs.
I haven't found clips on either PCs, so I have to check my backup discs. Due to the large file size (uncompressed AVI) I couldn't keep all vids on my PCs.

Probably I must have 2 recordings from the same episode as there's another broadcaster's logo. Captured 2 days later. Broadcaster SRTL aired this in 1998, 2000 and 2001. On ARD aired in 1991, 1994 and 1996 (BR).
Search might take several days and it's possible that I don't find it.

I've added 6 pics of that episode to my album. Showing the long hair of Rebecca. The hair of the younger boy, redhaired Sean looks different and the colors are better. Tape quality is sometime poor but better than recalled. The shiny shorts scene wasn't dark and the pig is a calf.

There are automated subtitles in German (with several errors).
I found the original capture, showing that this is all I have on VHS from this episode.

Info: rare and lost movies

I found Haydaze on the lostmediawiki as it shows up on my stats. (I rarely check this, as almost all of the few referrers are just search engines). Interesting site with forum. Maybe I even find something for this blog.

I wonder what is the difference between lost, completely lost and not yet released. To me a series aired in different countries is not lost, but just not released on DVD.  

There are many many series and shows that aren't available. Sometimes they appear on YouTube. I found many movies and series, please check out my rare movies list and also my tag unknown on both blogs. I also have some real lost movies here (mainly 1920s silents, search for lost movie).

Especially vintage German school TV series are rare. They even have to be destroyed after the school year. I have  some few, like Moving to Marlborough (1983) and related English ELT series, also check my other blogs.

There are also rare, lesser known series like Gli anni d'oro (1992), I recently bought one episode on VHS. Often IMDb is incomplete, has errors or don't know some and of course missing pics. There are also many educational movies like from FWU (16mm). These are not lost as well, the company still operates. There are better databases like filmportal.de.

I have some more rare movies and maybe I will upload some more on YouTube. But I had bad expierence and people often want more and more. And I don't want to risk that my blogs got deleted again. 13 year of work. And maybe just as one is not happy enough. Also some of my clips got deleted. Note, that this is a database and not a sharing site.

Update: Sudie and Simpson

 

Completely watched. Nothing important missed. But I can't give a higher rating than 7. Too few perfect scenes (of boys), no raw denim, no notable sitting scenes (of boys), not baggy etc. Most actors aren't that handsome. The great rear view pic 3 in the main post I wasn't sure about the boy. It's not Billy, he's not that chubby. It's the boy in pic 2 and pic 3 on right. Other pics full view of Sudie and rear view of her and Mary Agnes. I like pic 4 the folds on the rear, reminds me of Clay Farmers (same brand) rating 7 and Sugar Creek Gang rear views (Calvin Klein) rating 10.

I found 2 clips (Sept 2011), one 1 minute, the other 10 minutes with German audio including the ending tune. I haven't found a clip of the shiny shorts. I found an edited pic of that blog (Jan 2018). The image quality is much better than thought, but I'm sure that the other clip is of poorer quality (other cheaper tape at the beginning?).

I think the little girl (unpictured here) wore a long pair. Riding scenes (not in bibs). Not my favourite series but funny. Long haircuts for 1990. German title: Rebecca und die Jungen von nebenan.

I found the full 1981 autobiographical novel in French. Sudie is 10yo. Salopette ~6x, 1x the man holding the rabbit, 1x legs of boys are better protected from whipping due to heavy bibs. 1x Lem bibs at knees covered in manure, 1x Sudie puts on stolen bibs over her dress, 1x Sudie cried and tears dropping on Billy's bibs.

I got again a request for this rare series. Maybe a general fan and not for bibs? If there's a need for the complete series in English in perfect or good quality, I can't help, please ask the producers or broadcasters or collectors.

I have a partial VHS recording of 2 clips in total on 2 tapes, so parts of 1 or 2 episodes in German recorded in ~1991.
The tape is of very poor quality and my current recorder is defective.
I have digitized in the 2000s some very few and short clips in VCD quality 352x288 then upscaled, and made some image caps in higher res.
I mainly focussed on the older boy and girl then, not in bibs.

I haven't the clips or pics on my current PC.
The original is on an old PC with hardware issues. I have backup DVDs and maybe clips on other hard disks.

I have to search for the clips and pics. I don't recall if there's much notable. Some DVDr can't be read anymore.
I think I won't upload anymore to YouTube as I had bad experience, deletions, comments etc.
If I find stuff, I think I will post some short clips, animations or pics/slideshows here.

I later remember that I had one or 2 pics on my shiny shorts blog. Nice scene, but next to the quality I think it was dark lit and due to the contents (shirtless, muddy, pigs) it's probably not suitable for upload. My wordpress blogs got deleted, maybe for these kind of pics. I think my 2nd clip is from the ending credits, very brief, mainly headshots. Not sure if I recorded audio. 

So most likely I can only provide some more pics or maybe a 1 or 2 minute clip, if any. I will start searching tomorrow.

Produced by NDR/BzgA. I think it's not the 1979-1980 NDR series (13 ep) on IMDb. Much more episodes, also 1984 and other actors including Erle Magersuppe (puppeteer). And also no entry on wunschliste. But on filmportal.de. First movie there 1980 but should be a 1979 series.
