–Comment: Another documentary about Mennonites, this time in Bolivia (San José de Chiquitos). From the playlist (folder divers). Uploader L’Effet Papillon. Originally from CAPA Presse, now part of Newen Studios. Cyprien D'Haese. Clip on YouTube is 9 minutes, they also have at least one other, 15 minutes (2017).

Not just raw denim bibs but also medium blue and blue/green. Also younger teen boys.

Not sure if this is the official title. I haven't found it on IMDb. Length also unknown. Maybe a series. Rating 6-7 but hard to rate as this is probably not complete.

Another clip from the playlist, same uploader is "Ils REFUSENT la technologie et vivent à l'ancienne" (15 minutes). Mennonites not sure if Bolivia.

Another Mennonite movie shown at Cannes in 2007 is "Stellet Licht" Silent Light. That is about Mexico.

Update: Los olvidados

And another movie completely rechecked. Several boys in raw denim bibs but rather few scenes of them and mainly from a distance. One older teen boy shirtless in more faded bibs and some younger boys are more often shown.

I still don't know all those episodes of all series and films as I don't like those action films. So I have to investigate this further and hope for some broadcastings and will create more separate entries.

I had this pics and want to get rid of them. As soon as I have more good pics I will update this entry (and announce it).

I think the first pic showing Amy Jo Johnson (*1970) as ~23 yo Kimberly Heart from "Mighty Murphing", don't know from what of the 3 seasons (or film).

I saw yesterday by coincidence the beginning of this movie and could only record this woman. I also haven't seen it completely, but I assume rather few scenes in bibs. Later also some women in red dresses. Maybe also other actors in bibs (men)?

I don't like late action movies and romances, maybe I will check this again later.
Rating 3-4 for now. Maybe someone like it.

Original title "Sing si lip yan", also starring Richard Norton, Michael Wong and Gary Daniels. Woman might be Chingmy Yau (*1968), but unsure.

I don't know this complete series, maybe there are more actors/actresses in bibs. I don't like this series starring 3 young women as witches (too few bib scenes and too few (teen) boys).

Rating 4-5 for now.

Info 128: Updates

Some minor updates of "7th Heaven" ep. s1e12. 3 teen girls (supporting actresses) in bibs. Brief scenes and the best scene out of focus (pictured, one smaller girl behind Lucy and one older teen girl in this scene at school). I added this pic at the entry of season 1 and removed the pic of little Ruthie (pictured below). In case someone missed this.

I also have seen Piranha (1978) completely. Much fewer bib scenes (boy only), however perfect swimwear (m/f/kids) and shiny short, ripped of jeans shorts and else. Leaving rating 7.

No other additional pics.

Story 29: Waltons 3 on 1 horse

This is my favourite riding scene in The Waltons and also one of my favourite riding scenes of all movies.

Is there anybody who don't know/don't own this DVD?

Looks very funny and he also arranged/dragged her a bit and he also had to hold to her. Lucky Jim-Bob between 2 girls. Maybe they all enjoyed that scene. I wonder how often they repeated this scene. Probably he would enjoy this more without his little sister and without the camera team.

Hello and Happy New Year!

I just find out that some of my first entries are not displayed when clicking on the January 2011 posts. It ended with Schloss Einstein (January 6). The first entry was "The Waltons" (Jan. 4) then you can click on Newer Post.

No idea what happend there.

Update: I have found the problem (there were several known issues incl max. 50 posts). The button "older posts" is there, but invisible.
I don't want to change the code of this blog, as there might be other problems (like 2x older posts). Hope Google will fix this bug (which exists for more than 1 year).

I also updated Home Improvement (2 pics of the 2 other sons) and soon updating Growing Pains. (No real bibs yet, except for a little girl in one movie).

Info 112: Merry Christmas!

I wish all my blog readers and their friends and relatives a  
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year (in advance).
I won't post during the next 3 Christmas days. I need some rest, but I try to find, watch and record as many of the movies with bib contents these days.

One of them is "Temple Grandin" (2010), German title which is not on IMDb is "Du gehst nicht allein" on channel arte, today Dec. 23th. At least one woman in bibs.

I searched for a good Christmas pic and I thought of course of The Waltons.
The only Christmas episode I first found was S5-E12 (Germany: episode 11), but probably without bib scenes. Christmas is also not the time wearing bibs, not even in the 1930s and 1940s. They wore most likeley their Sunday clothes.
I found 2 other Christmas episodes, S6-E11 (Germany ep. 12+13 double episode, pictured on top) with some bib scenes, 2 guest kids and Erin wearing a blue sailor dress (for more see my other blog). Elizabeth wore raw denim bibs decorating the christmas tree, also Jim-Bob and granddad. Later Elizabeth decorating the tree in light blue, almost white bibs.

Another Christmas episode is S8-E13 with some new family members, but without bib scenes. First I choose the pic below from S4-E12. Not Christmas but could be. Most or all of the family together, showing Mary-Ellen and Jim-Bob in bibs.
There are Christmas scenes in the pilot and maybe other Waltons films, but I don't know them, nor season 9 yet. 
Maybe interesting for all as it shows boys and girls. For more about The Waltons see that entries of each season.

Another suggestion. Thanks. I don't have time to watch this complete movie, but probably I wouldn't like it. Might be a funny movie, but I only found this scene and have to check more scenes.

Sorry, I can't rate any higher than 2 for now. Maybe there are some other interesting (non-bibs scenes). Like pool scenes.

Info 109: Update: The Thanksgiving Promise

After checking most of the parts of the new YouTube upload, I have updated my entry of The Thanksgiving Promise (1986). Now, next to the rope climbing scene of an 11 yo boy, also the teen main character Travis (13 yo Jordan Bridges, pictured), a young man and a toddler (girl?) in bibs. Maybe more. If someone has the time to watch the complete movie (quite bad quality though, but perfect farm movie and actors, Jason Bateman, Beau Bridges and family, good plot, shorts and shirtless bullying scenes at a lake) and found other actors in bibs, please comment. 2 more pics (incl. this and another from behind). Thanks very much for this suggestion. I didn't check this complete action/comedy/crime movie rated R, 125 minutes, aka "Crime is King" also starring Kevin Costner, Courtney Cox, Christian Slater and Ice-T. I think I wouldn't like this movie/plot. I don't like Elvis and those stuff, though good setting, landscape and props. I also don't like action movies.

Bibs seem quite good, also showing from behind while kicking by a woman. But I don't like that scene. Is that the same boy? Looks somehow even younger.
I have to check this again (if broadcasted). Rating 6 for now. Nominated for some anti awards (worst picture, worst actor=Costner, worst supporting actress=Cox).

This is not a movie or TV series, but a multimedia CD-ROM featuring 19 Canadian male and female teens talking about school for learning English. Language English only. Produced by Finnish company Lingonet. There are also other editions, I think at least a British one. I think no others in bibs. And no other perspective than pictured. Very low resolution 240x180 (same as pictured). Very short clips ~8 from each teen. Don't run properly on modern Windows versions (runs on Win 3.1 or maybe Win95). However the AVI and WAV clips play on a modern media players without needing "Video for Windows" installed. Perhaps some interviews might be quite interesting, but poor quality, even back then (sold in 2003). Rating 2.

I don't remember this complete film and missed it recently. But I don't like neither ice hockey nor apes. I also assume few bib scenes as she also wears other clothes and often a jacket. Later darker blue jeans but I think not bibs. I saw film 3 completely ("MXP", which is without Zegers and about snowbarding, no bibs there except for a small flashback pic in a photo album). I have an entry at my Lederhosen blog called "Story 6: Fake Lederhosen, film MXP". (12 yo boy with Tyrolean hat, rating 3/10). I like Canadian films and Kevin Zegers, but there are definitely a lot of better movies (also with animals like Air Bud, which is from the same team). I have to check this again next broadcasting, rating 4 for now (could be worse, plot is quite good). Smith is American, but not sure about the other girl, so tagging non-USA. Film aka "Snapshot" and rated PG.

I found this film by coincidence searching for film "The Tree of Life (2011) and found this on blog "auditoireonfilm.com" Clothing of the young girl looks more like a short dress, but at least that of the woman looks more similar like bibs /skirtalls. I think that these are not aprons and probably they are not real bibs. (At least those of the man). I don't know this complete movie but plot is quite interesting (after true story about a man who kept his family imprisoned), film style compared to Bunuel. Directed and written by Arturo Ripstein, Golden Ariel Award. Perhaps someone likes this For "bib" scenes only rating 2 for now. I think also the teen girl (18 ys) in those clothing, but not sure. No real trailer. Film aka "Castle of Purity" 1972 / 1973.

I'm not sure, but probably I have seen this kids' movie but can't remember. Obviously another typical funny (and good) film by Eric Hendershot. Also starring Joe Piscopo, Julie Hagerty and Jake Dinwiddie as her brother. He was also born in 1987 but looks much younger and played her 10 yo brother. I have to check again, so rating 5-6 for now. I also prefer darker bibs. I assume medium bib scenes. No trailers on YouTube but on Rotten Tomatoes. (Showing front and backside). Pehaps also cycling scenes? Film rated PG.

Also another scene where the woman on the right feeding a seal. Also wearing rubber boots. Additionally an old man in fishing trousers. Sorry, I don't like thouse trousers and the film could also be better. But perhaps someone else like film or actors. Also no sailor suits (for my other blog).

Info 72: Update Story 25: tearing straps

Update of "The Secret World of Alex Mack" (teen girl, +raw denim).
Yesterday I found this scene with her in full length raw denim bibs. See also entry for more infos and another pic.

Why tearing at the strap? I think it wasn't looose. Or tickles it there or at other places? I think bibs are not baggy and only some short scenes with them. Raw denim looks better on her than the medium blue shortalls.
