Still searching for more of Gli anni d'oro (1992), I found this. Script by Beppe Cino (not directing here). Inspired by Hemingway. Berlin Festival 2022. Style and characters also reminds of Gli anni d'oro.

English title: The Old Man and the Little Girl.

For the brief scenes rating 2-3. Bibs and actress aren't that bad. Movie itself probably higher. The kid on right is a girl. Lotti also wore similar yellow pants, I first thought of bibs under short.
