And another one from the "chicks list". I don't know/don't remember this remake (rated R) of 1962. The setting with the fun fair reminds me of Ray Bradbury's "Something Wicked This Way Comes"; and the clown of Stephen King's It.

I like horror movies, but I'm not sure of this one. IMDb rating is very low. There are also flashback scenes with a 9 yo girl (Raquel Beaudene), but probably not in bibs. Also starring Shawnee Smith, Larry Miller and Paul Johansson.

I have to check this again the next broadcasting. Bibs seem quite good but probably nothing special. Mirror scenes are always a good idea, so you can see front and back.

Rating 3-4 for now.

Update: Thanks for the comment. Shawnee Smith wears green/brown overalls at the end of the movie. I have to check for pics. Obviously few scenes as well of Bobbie Phillips at ~38 minutes. I only found headshots.

Info 162: New loc.gov pics, new blog found

Yesterday I found 2 more FSA pics on loc.gov. A Mormon boy from Snowville, Utah. Taken by Russell Lee in 1940. I don't know why I haven't found them earlier crawling all farm pics there. Either I missed them or didn't liked them.  I found them by coincidence searching b&w farm films. They are not the best pics and he's quite young , but there are worse.

There are a lot of episodes of Our Gang / aka The Little Rascals, but somehow I don't remember and couldn't found much bib scenes in there.

Sorry, I don't remember/don't know this this drama/Sci-Fi/fantasy series starring Adrian Pasdar, Rae Dawn Chong and Alisen Down. So I can't say much more about it. But there are a lot of similar series and probably much better ones. No clips, not on DVD. 5 other movies with her, mostly in bibs (try the blog search).

I have to check this again. Rating 4-5 for now. Could be worse. I think the bibs are not as baggy as in other films and also light blue fits better to her.

I don't remember this complete movie, but I think I have seen it long time ago. Maybe a good movie and some interesting scenes, also farm/ranch content, but I don't like those shortalls. I'm not even sure if that is jeans fabric. Doesn't look like from behind. I believe some few bib scenes in flashback scenes in either 1935 or 1945 only. Unnamed character on IMDb, but probably the main character Marcelo as child. Directed by Walter Hugo Khouri.

For shortalls scene rating 3 only. For the movie some more. I think available on VHS (OOP) and I've also seen a DVD (not sure if officially released or DVD-r). There also might be some cut versions. The movie is currently completely on YouTube.

Update: I have rechecked both movies with him (searching for my unknown movie). I believe both movies are set in the presence. Brief scene.

7th Heaven - S3e5

Is there anybody who likes pregnant and overweighted teen girls / women in bibs? Then that's an episode for you. 7th Heaven S3e5. Also some few supporting actresses in bibs, the only notable is pictured below. I don't know their names. No Camden in bibs. Some boys acting, but none in bibs.

Like the previous entry, I don't add this pics to the season 3 entry, as I don't like them.

In Dallas (1978) I found another very good scene of Omri Katz in light blue bibs (one suspender down, also showing his back), also a toddler in blue bibs. But I still haven't seen this final season completely. No new pics yet. Also some more good scenes of Joshua Harris in jeans and shorts. Still rating 7, though very few bib scenes in this season yet. I bet there are some more in this whole series, maybe even women. Maybe even some pregnant women in earlier seasons?

A new suggestion. Thanks very much. This movie was also on the dng effect "chicks" list, so I would have add it sooner or later, and Fifteen and Pregnant I already have. But thanks and do suggest more.

Bibs might appear black but are dark blue, probably raw denim (and I like that). I still haven't checked the complete movie (PG-13), so I can't say much more about it. Novel by teacher Erin Gruwell (played by Swank), also starring Patrick Dempsey, Imelda Staunton, Kristin Herrera and Scott Glenn.

Usually I don't like these kind of films with "teens" who mostly are 20 yo and up. Maybe a good rap soundtrack. I prefer family and farm films. If there are some important other actresses or even actors in bibs, please comment, so I could add these infos. I will check this again the next broadcasting.

As announced some time ago at another Ducote movie now also this entry. I still haven't seen this thriller (rated R) completely, but it looks very good. Also starring Stephanie Zimbalist, Thorsten Kaye (as grown up Joey), Greg Lauren and 7 or 8 yo Skye McCole Bartusiak. So I assume rather few bib scenes in one or more flashback scenes, probably about 20 years ago. I can't say much more about this movie and have to check this again and hope for a soon broadcasting. Probably a typical thriller (I usually don't like thrillers). There's an Italian trailer on YouTube but without him.

During research I found again the Spanish movie "El viaje de Carol". I already have an entry (rating 6). I still haven't seen it completely but this scene at the beginning is worth a story entry.

And maybe this romance/comedy /drama film is also quite good. And showing ranch content and cowboy hats. Probably a must have for Haim fans.

A separate entry for this 2 episodes. I don't include them in the entry of season 3, as I probably won't keep them there as there might be better pics in this season (like Lucy).

I'm also not sure which is episode 3 and which is 4 as the plot and actors seem to be different at IMdb. Episode The Legacy had been aired first but is ep s3e4 at IMDb.

This short film is almost 16 minutes. 11 minutes are set in about the 1930s, the last minutes in the present. Also some kids at school, but probably none in bibs. Quite good film, setting and props (awarded), story by Claudemir Oliveira.  But I can't rate higher than 5-6 due to few scenes.

I recently bought this last season of this famous classic series. I still haven't checked all episodes as I'm watching this at standard speed, so it will take some days. I like farm and ranch settings ("Southfork Ranch"), however many scenes are quite boring showing grown-ups only. This season started with a kidnapping in France, so few ranch scenes. Also some teen boys cycling in black tights, but this scenes are not perfect either.

I think I don't have to tell much more about this series and no need for trailers. Soap Opera Digest Award for Omri and 3 nominations for a Young Artist Award. The series won a Golden Globe and several other awards. He even occured in many episodes starting in 1983. I only remembered Joshua Harris as a kid.

DVD: I own the RC2 German DVD, German and English language, also subtitles, some scenes which hadn't been aired in Germany are in English. The image quality in some scenes, especially the faces (also of the swim short scenes) is partly a bit bad, not sure if also on NTSC discs. I wonder why on a 1991 production.

Maybe I will also buy some previous seasons as they are not very expensive.

Rating 6-7 for now (7 means I would buy a DVD) although I don't know of any other bib scenes (in this season) than pictured yet. But I bet there are some more good ranch scenes in this series. I have seen this series in the 80s, but can't remember all episodes. If anybody knows of some other bib scenes in earlier seasons, please comment.

Update: Now I also bought season 13. No bibs scenes except for few and short scenes of men (oil workers). Some good scenes of Katz and Harris in regular jeans and shorts, one short riding scene of Harris. Also Kimberly Foster in jeans and a red sailor collar (see my other blog, rating 2). About 1 hour can't be watched (different players + PC).

Short film, 18 minutes. I have seen it some time ago and don't remember it completely, I think rather few scenes. She is also very young. Directed by Clay Westervelt ("Popatopolis"). However quite interesting plot (Halloween is better). Rating 3-4.

Info 158: Update Noah (1998)

A minor update of Noah (1998). Before I deleted the clip from my hard drive I found this scene at the fun fair with a girl (or is it a boy ?) with long dark hair/ponytail (background on the left). So not only the toddler in pink bibs and of course the 13 yo (main) character (Chris Marquette pictured below with one strap down). I don't had the time to watch this movie completely. Rating 5-6.

I don't know/don't remember this movie with this very famous child actor. Probably there are better movies (and in color). He is also very young there. I have to check this again later. Also starring Liselotte Pulver, Gustav Knuth, Ilse Werner, Nadja Tiller and even Michael Ande (not sure if in Lederhosen or sailor suits). There are few infos and I also don't have this movie on my Michael Ande list on my other blog. It's not a Heimatfilm but a circus drama.

Seems to be very rare, so I can't say much more about it. I hope for a soon broadcasting. English title: "Reaching for the Stars".

Sorry I don't know this series and it's very rare. Not available on either DVD nor VHS, and probably also not available online except for some short clips. Looks like a very good family/children's series about friendship. Separate episodes with different actors (also boys). The first episode is called "Kanalratten" and I thought this is online, but that is from a similar series "Geheim - oder was?!"

-Comment: One older teen boy, about 17 yo at this boarding school in hickory striped bibs. Legs cuffed up. I only noticed about 2 or 3 rather short scenes. One other sitting at class but behind a table and one standing (while P.E. or similar education).

I even own this DVD for some years but don't like it. Perfect plot (about two young gay teen boys) and some interesting scenes, like shower scenes and underwear scenes, but I don't like the 70s and boys with long hair. A trailer on a similar DVD reminded me of this DVD which I had only seen once.

The main character(s) are much younger and the blond boy (Bo) is handsome. But not in bibs either. Directed by Lasse Nielsen and Ernst Johansen. English title: You Are Not Alone.

DVD: I own the first 2007 "German" PAL DVD (Danish language only, German and English subtitles. Both 1,78:1 and 1,5:1 versions included. The last one has a bad quality and fixed subtitles but you can see a bit more at the upper and lower part of the screen. Some trailers and an image gallery. Maybe there are newer releases and other foreign DVDs. The NTSC DVD should also have just fixed subtitles.

Rating: Plot 10, movie and actors 5-6, bib scenes only 2. However I don't bought it for bib scenes either and probably nobody else would. Quite entertaining. But I think there are better movies. But well done for it's time. They should do a modern remake.

Also at least a young boy (I think her son and main character) and girl acting, but I don't know of any others in bibs than this woman, maybe some men.

I don't know this movie. Looks quite interesting. Family fantasy film with farm/rural content. Probably a good movie, but for the bib scenes of this woman rating 1-2 for now. Sorry. I also don't understand Russian. The plot is about a Goldfish who can fulfill wishes like a bike. I have to check this again.

How could I forget this series? I haven't seen it on TV for many years and only checked some parts of it recently. I hope for a soon broadcasting to check it completely.

I like this film/series. Starring Jonathan Brandis (1976-2003, R.I.P.), Richard Thomas ("The Waltons") as grown-up Bill, five other boys and the girl in this gang. Perfect horror series. Emmy Award. 192 minutes in 2 episodes. Also some very good scenes, I can still remember the shower scene and of course some shocking clown scenes.

For bib scenes rating 5-6 for now. The boy is rather small and looks younger. Not sure of the amount as there are also scenes set in 1990. Maybe there are even other (supporting) kids or grown ups in bibs? The movie I would rate at least 7-8. But I think I wouldn't buy it.

Update: Sorry, it's not Adam Faraizl but Tony Dakota in bibs (thanks again Felix! more pics and the brands on his dungareemovies blog). He gave rating 8. I still have to check the complete movie.

Update: I think few scenes of the little boy, also with an additional yellow raincoat and b&w photos. Maybe the girl is more of interest. Bib at low position. Also soon on my pigtails blog, rating ~6.

There are better soccer kids movies (like a Dutch and a British one, the British one had even been also aired today). I don't like the soccer and shiny shorts scenes either.

Some good scenes in the orphanage and locker room. But could all be much better. The language is a bit crude. Typical in the 2000s.

The girl is also very young but not ugly. I also don't like the boy actors. Rating 4-5, rather 4.
