–Comment: As mentioned, I found this during research, I think also via Google Lens for searching my previously unknown movie (A Saintly Switch). I have checked some episodes and this chubby boy, Jorge Granilla (*1979 so 9 or 10 yo but older looking) as Jaime obviously very often in bibs including sitting and lying scenes. Bib at high position. Also a man (dad ?, often together) and at least a girl in pink bibs, shortalls or similar but probably much fewer scenes. 

Pics 1+2 from ep 13 also showing the rear, pic 2 from ep 153 with overlapping straps, maybe another pair? and pic 4 from ep 48. Unpictured: Sitting eg in ep 60, sitting/lying in ep 48.  

I didn't had the time to check all episodes yet. I assume many (good) scenes and maybe more actors (girls). Rating ~5 for now. The kids in this elementary school often wore light green school clothes. 

Available even on DVD and USB 1080 widescreen (cropped ?). 

By coincidence I found on Daily another modern remake, obviously the 2012 Brazilian version (Carrossel) with Nicholas Torres as Jaime (see next post). Looks even better. Also a man, not sure if girls. I have to check all this. Clips called Carrusel, by uploader Carrusel Online Audio latino, who also has more Brazilian kids telenovelas.
