After some research, I've manually extracted the corrupt 2nd file (via csv export). No new posts there (seems a lookup table for linked pics etc). So I have a full backup.
Some conversion details: There's probably no better converter; it's maybe possible to do a manual, command-line 2- 3- or 4-way conversion from Wordpress XML to Google's ATOM format (long-lined namespace feed) via RSS and 2 Microsoft and maybe some more tools, but I only found instructions for the opposite way. So there might be one converter missing. Although the Google format is open, it's obviously very complicated; probably I can't import more automatically.
I still have to think about this and will try for some days.
For now, I think I will manually add the missing posts rating 10, 9 and 8 and maybe 7 (latter one lots of posts). Via a csv export it's easy to find these ratings. I have few rating 10 posts. Only missing are some lists (The Waltons, Sugar Creek Gang, LCA list, Avonlea s5e1, Dinosaur Hunter, Antaeus (Robbers, Rooftops and Witches) and some few more story, info and update posts.) At least, I already have complete A-Z lists.
