-Comment: I think Dean Stockwell (pictured) in light bibs. Backside suspenders only. Also several men in bibs. This is a classic MGM film with similiar plot as famous "To Kill A Mockingbird" (see that entry). I don't know this complete film and I want to see it. Also farm content (sharecropper). I read that this film is not in the Public Domain as copyright had been renewed at the last moment in 1978 and the law was changed. Novel by Joe David Brown. Also starring James Mitchell and James Arness who recently died. Directed by Jaques Tourneur. Dean Stockwell did a lot of films including "The Boy With Green Hair", Kim, and also later films like Dune and Beverly Hills Cop 2 as well as TV series like Battlestar Galactica. Rating 6 for now.
