-Comment: Enguerran Demeulenaere (pictured on top pics) and dark blue (non jeans?) bibs and light blue bibs. Also Angelo Rosso-Aguirre (pic below) in light blue shortalls and men in bibs. Thanks for Felix for the suggestion of this movie (he misses info for younger boy and man). I have seen some parts of it and hadn't the time to watch it completely yet. The pics I have captured by myself before. Quite good family film, also with farm (or gardening) content, and I like French films (though prefer US ones), but I don't like the longer hair of Edgar. I also don't like the dark bibs, the light blue bibs are OK. I have to check the complete film, but only rating 6-7 for now. (Felix rated 9/10, RR-Rating) I think the trailers on YouTube are from different, unrelated movies.

Prancer Returns

-Comment: A young girl in blue bibs, I think this must be Haley Lochner (pictured). Canadian, so non-USA. Probably also snow bibs, but not sure if good scenes. I don't remember the complete film but assume only few and short scenes with her at school, both hard to see. Perhaps also other actors in bibs, but I don't know of anyone else. Also starring John Corbett. I've seen more often the 1989 prequel Prancer (but I don't remember any bib scenes there). Quite good and touchy family films. Young Artist Awards for Gavin Fink, Haley Lochner and Robert Clark. But I don't like this film much. There are better (Christmas) films. So rating 3 for now, but I will check this again next broadcasting. No bibs in clip, sorry, no better trailers on YouTube.

Update: I've seen almost the complete movie and only saw very few bib scenes. I also saw most of Prancer but missed the beginning. I noticed there one scene of a young girl probably in bibs sitting at school showing from behind. Not sure if more scenes. Both films are quite good, but could be better. Few bib scenes so rating 3.

-Comment: Briana Shipley in full length blue bibs (pic right with blond Nick Whitaker) and pink or orange shortalls (looks pink in trailer and this seems to be correct). Perhaps even more or other actors in bibs. Looks like a very funny family film (rated PG). Similar to the Eric Hendershot movies and at least partly with same kid actors. I don't know this film yet and wanted to buy it some years ago, but first bought another DVD with Whitaker (Message in a Cell Phone) which is very good, but sadly without bibs. Also good Sci-Fi plot, turning a 7 year old brother into a bug. I assume medium or fewer bib scenes. Good review and pics at blog filmobscurities confirming shortalls and pink shortalls. Rating 6 for now but have to check.

-Comment: Bobby Larson in dark blue bibs and straw hat (pictured). Not sure if this is still raw denim, most likeley heavy worn, also not sure of others in bibs (perhaps men). I don't know the complete film and have only seen some parts, but looks quite good. Authentic as set and produced in the 1940s. I also like the clothings and caps of the other boys. Larson died in 2002 aged 72 and was an elementary school teacher. I like those historic movies and the plot is about bullying. Also starring Barton MacLane, Jan Wiley and Conrad Binyon (Courage of Lassie, 1946). Running time 65 minutes. Available as single DVD or on a compilation Box. Perhaps even worth buying. According archive.org already in Public Domain, but not yet available for streaming or download there. I assume many bib scenes and not really farm content, should be big city. Rating 7 for now. No trailers.

Myrsky (2008)

-Comment: I think Ronja Arvilommi as Muru (or Pearl?) in blue bibs (pictured). I found this film by coincidence and don't know it. There are also other actors girls (at school) and teen girls, but I don't know of anyone else in bibs. The mother has 2 colorful dresses with suspenders quite biblike. Not sure about real farm content but pic looks like. Film is partly set in East Berlin in 1989 before the fall of the Berlin Wall and in Finland. International title: Stormheart (=name of the dog). Perhaps a good and touchy family film with ineresting plot, but the girl is very young, so only rating 3 for now. Perhaps someone although likes it. I assume medium or fewer bib content, she also wears a dress.

Diary of a Mountain Girl 1927-1939.

Usually I searched PD movies with sailor suits and found also 3 films with bibs. I keep searching if I have time but won't make entries for every single PD-film just for one of each blog which I like most (in my A-Z list and tags at this entry). I think next time I will make a list of PD films. Sorry no teen girls or women yet (at least one young girl in bibs). There are PD movies at archive.org with teens (even in color) but I haven't found any new ones in bibs.

La forteresse suspendue

Sometimes hidden under a transparent cape. Not sure of other actors. I haven't seen this movie for some years now, but it's quite a good family adventure film. Remake of "The Dog Who Stopped the War" aka "La guerres de tuques", both produced by Rock Demers. Some humilation and also romantic and funny scenes, but there are better movies. Film aka "The Hidden Fortress" and "La forteresse enchantée". Film series "Contes pour tous" # 20. Starring Matthew Dupuis and Xavier Dolan, but mostly lesser known kids. The 1984 prequel is much better. There is also another short trailer on YouTube but yet another blogger.com failure to embedding that. But I think no good clips with bibs available. -Comment: At least one girl (I think Claudia Mögenburg, pictured) in as well red and blue skirtalls /and or similar looking dresses and blue full length bibs. Also a man in bibs (backside suspenders only) and even with straw hat (boat scene). Sorry no pics (of real bibs) yet. Also Lederhosen and swimwear scenes. Note that there is also a related, but 20 years later TV series. I think jeans bibs were uncommon in former East Germany and not called jeans and of course produced in the own country, not sure about the fabric. Bib overalls are mainly a symbol of the USA.

Interesting fact and also a good kids film and series. For bib scenes here only rating 4. However she is very young. And I think no DVD released yet.
