This is a pic from the 2nd blog I think from the 2nd update previously missing here. I think I will delete that blog. I already copied all pics to a new album but have to fix all links rating 10-7.

Book 97: Hight: Fruita (Images of America)

I often search for books and this is getting more and more difficult. I'm often disappointed when having overalls on the cover and few or no contents inside.
Yesterday, I found this one having some pics. One very good school pic outside, with boys sitting on the ground cross-legged. Page 88 can be found via Google Books.

Also one brief update of another book. I missed squeaking sounds of shoes when walking. I hadn't expected sounds of shoes. Often boys are barefooted. And wooden floorboard probably sqeaking themselves.

I have some pics of boys and girls in bibs also one-room schoolhouse in/outside on my loc.gov albums (FSA-OWI and NLCC).

Info 1288: Blog search issues

Recently, I didn't encountered blog search issue with the blog seach widget on the right, but after searching for my other blog, it turns out that some posts are not displayed. Others are displayed twice. Also not sure about the order. Usually newest posts on top.
The search box on top (via Google advanced search) is even worse.
I assume the issues are due to the different import ways and somehow posts are not indexed. Probably posts without pics have lower priorities.
Similar problems with my internal dashboard search. Some duplicates, I only found via the rating tags but these are sometimes different.

So I will fix links, especially in the series and season's entries.
All posts are there.
You can also find posts when flipping through all the archives of that particular month. Links have year and month included.

Update: It's important to search with the beginning complete words.
"Avonlea" not finding all posts starting with Road to Avonlea.
Info 163: Update: Road to... can better be found via Info 163.
Words must be full.
Road to Avonlea s6e2 can't be found when just searching for Road to Avonlea -s6.
I have to look for better search widgets.

Update 2: Sometimes the blog search works better. Especially when the full post title is entered. Some punctuations like dashes and colons might be an issue. Same for different apostrophes, diacritics, non-Latin or other special characters, but that search seems to work better here.

Info 1287: All reposts done

All reposts uploaded tag repost, (last remaining ones were already there, archive tag March 2020). These were reposts from the deleted blog (last uploads not contained in my last backup) and not reposts from this blog. One info post is missing (Band Blond, woman in a jeans dress). I also have uploaded some pics of the recent posts, although not rating 6 or up.

New posts/pics still not show up in Google. 7,700 hits last month (most from me). Google is very slow. Half of the results of pics and vids are still from the blog deleted 2 months ago. It would be better to have all pics rating 10-7 on this blog.

Update: The Thanksgiving Visitor (Truman Capote) new post

As announced, I have completely rechecked this movie, previously rated 6.

The image quality of the YouTube clips is faded and quite poor. I have both pics enhanced. Rather few scenes at the beginning. The main character is on left and not in bibs.

The boy in bibs is barefooted and on a climbing contraption (on top). Great plot for a story. The other, younger kids around and underneath teasing him, one steps on his barefooted foot. Also a fighting scene on the ground, this time the teen boy starting to fight.

Maybe I also have to check the novel by Truman Capote and the prequel "A Christmas Memory".Some updates about the short story, the name and age of the boy and the exact time setting on the main entry.

Info 1283: Import update 2011/2012

While checking the pics, I noticed that the early posts 2011/2012 exist and have tiny pics, but these posts also missing the updated texts like links to episodes.

These texts + larger pics are available on blog 2. Importing from that probably takes too long, maybe 10 days, so I will try backup file 1 and have to add the pics after that.

I've added several pics, especially rating 10-9. Mosts pics of rating 7 already exist. I've also started fixing lists and links like the The Waltons. But still lots of work. After that I think I will upload pics rating 6.

I've also finished the import on my Lederhosen blog. Pics also missing there.

Update: SA: I have imported all updated earliest posts, but only published mainly the TV series and added the pics (have 10-8). The posts have the same dates and maybe even more comments but all stats are set to 0.
The Waltons had 1329 pageviews, Kidsongs 2802. But both not appear in the top posts (unlike Neues vom Süderhof, I kept that one).
Next to some missing stats, I sometimes changed the rating, so it's difficult finding duplicates.

I only have seen the movie at very high speed. Probably most of interest is this short dancing scenes. Probably no or few other scenes of farmers?

Southern music of the 30s is maybe sort of "overalls music" but there were other, slower music like Jazz and Blues. I have to do more research. Maybe there's even better music. Usually, I don't posts movies with just men, but the topic is interesting.

Info 1282: Import finished. 4231 posts.

Today, I finished importing the new posts including pics from blog 2. Including yesterday's 215 posts (today there were just 11 missing). With the previously published 113 posts of yesterday, there were 328 posts with pics (~95 % manual uploads rating 10-7).

I have the better A-Z lists without the space lines. Most of the new posts are duplicates but with updated texts (more episodes) and larger, partial other pics.

Most internal links like updates/episodes are wrong, but I think, I will remove the older duplicates.
The date of the new posts is 2020. Often I have noted the name of the 1st pic containting the date, but pics were often later replaced.

Please make a blog search when missing posts.

The info numbering is partially wrong, especially the 1st info numbers. Info #1 must be at least twice or 3 times available from the different blogs, so with different contents. Some info posts I haven't published. The amount will decline when removing duplicates, but I try to continue with 1283.

After removing the duplicates, I will recheck all pics rating 10-7. There might be some pics missing, especially rating 7 (mainly Sep 2017-Mar 2020).
Currently, I mainly have just one pic in each post. Some posts or lists have none like the Cebollitas list by color. But larger pics are in the episode posts.

The early original posts here (2011/2012) might have some newer tags missing. Eg. teens instead of teen boy or teen girl. And I think tags like sitting and wet.

Blog 2 or it's posts will be deleted or hidden (to maintain the new images) in a few days.

Info 1281: dream #6 US salesman

Another dream. One of the last post, I published yesterday was the previous dream. Could be coincidence.
Again very brief. Just 2 scenes, but probably this is the full plot. Sorry, when this is not that interesting. I had 2 more, a bit longer dreams later in the morning and some very brief scenes while awake/half awake, but not bibs related.

1st scene: I'm running with an US salesman on a squared German sports field. He's right to me.
I think, I've invited him. But maybe he was already in Germany.
While running, I 1st talked to him in German that I'm interested in "overalls" (as he know ?). Then asked, if he understoods German. No.
Then I repeated it in English. I talked not loud so that the others can't here it, although far away.
While running, I'm holding at least 2 ads newspapers with my notes.
At least I have informations for him but maybe originally it was me who wants informations.
We are leaving the field.

2nd scene: Nearby city. I have 2 sources about overalls movies written on the papers. I had troubles finding and reading my notes.
Then I told him about an ABC list (weblink ?) (Probably not my Afterschool list, a new list ?)
Probably I also found my 2nd list. The salesman is very interested in my infos, I think he would write down them but he wants my original notes.

There was one DVD advertised on a red paper (probably the largest German electronics chain) and I made a circle around the DVD. The salesman wondered, why I would buy that DVD. I said that I perhaps considering a purchase. It was an US movie, probably 80s or 90s, maybe an 80s comedy film.
I don't remember the exact title. I think a long title, at least 4 or 5 words. And a photo of some people, maybe a family or some friends on it.
I don't know this movie as I considered buying and probably the salesman know it and obviously not containing bibs scenes. So it was not important
within the dream but coincidentely on the paper and when awake I'm sure that the movie doesn't exist.
Probably I gave him my notes.


Conclusion: Time setting obviously not long time ago. I'm grown-up. Before Covid-19.
I don't remember if I got money or if there was an information exchange. Why would someone fly from the US for just 2 notes? Can't be worth much.

I have finally seen the complete movie, but as usual at high speed. I expected much more (good) scenes.

Few good scenes in the second half, mainly of the young brother (I think in three different pairs).

The school scenes at the beginning are also brief. Girl running inside and the fighting scene of the older boy. Also a brief wet scene of girl and older boy, adding tag wet.

This is an updated copy from blog 2. Mainly for me, what posts are on which of the 13 backup files. All posts have been imported (including new and reposts), now 4039 posts published. (Except the manual uploads rating 7-10. I have too fast published 113 posts but have to continue tomorrow (TH). There are still many rating 7-10 posts from May 2012-2011 missing. 207 posts imported 26. Apr 2020- 25. May 2012 Lindenstraße). Luckily, posts with updated pics are on top. As assumed pics were imported but left in the album of blog 2. Many duplicates and wrong links (either to blog 2 or defunct, -> blog search).

I started to import posts from blog 3 to the 1st blog. 252 posts imported (from 2020 to Jun 2019, June maybe partial). These posts are not available on this 2nd blog. I will continue with the original 13 backups, starting from file 13 or better file 12 backwards.
Each file has to upload twice due to the limit. As the earliest posts exist, there are 10 files left, so takes at least 20 days.

The posts of blog 2 (manual uploads with pics rating 10- partial 7), mainly older posts but dated Apr 2020, I will transfer then but will be duplicates.

I will also start uploading new pics there rating 7 that are missing here.

I had rating 7 up to file 10 what is ~ Sep 2017. This will be a new album.

I think I will only posts new posts on blog 1, but I will announce that.

I only have checked half of the episodes at high speed yesterday.
I also had this on my shiny shorts blog. How could I miss the bibs scenes? (Very good 80s Adidas shorts, PE, including locker room, mainly in ep 2 and 6). Rating was ~7 or 8.

Quite interesting. For bibs rating ~4-5 for now. I prefer blue bibs.

Import of all files is now completed! Currently 3925 files. I also have started importing from blog 2 (69 posts, rating 7, but not published, yet). Probably only one day to go. Still unclear if pics work. I do think so, but I think I have to leave the posts on blog 2 or at least the album and can't delete the blog. Posts are duplicates. (Manual uploads of rating 7-10 in Apr/May 2020). I have to carefully test and publish first one single post.

To do: Check /fix spaces in A-Z lists. Publish pages fix links especially topics page. Import file 3 on the other blog. Adding 2 missing files from blog 2. Adding new posts and repost to the new A-Z list after/while fixing/ or when adding new posts.

Info 1251: 1990s overalls websites - webring - overalls music - medieval

By coincidence, I searched on oocities (previously geocities) for overalls. There were also other personal homepages on tripod and lycos, around 1998. Some are even still active. There was also a webring.

One of the 1st sites, I've found is "The Overall Source" on tripod (active), mainly with lists of the brands but also with the webring on bottom.
Most links are defunct but half of them still work via archive.org.
One of the best sites I found was by German Bibby Yoe (AOL). Including links.

He even had a page about "overalls music" (Lindy Hop, jazz like, movie "Hellzapoppin'" man, b&w also colorized, coming soon) and there also was a questionnaire.

One interesting history on Fardos overalls (geocities) is the fact, that alchemists, magicians and jesters wore one-piece suits in the Middle Ages and children of royalty wore satin or silk overalls in 18th century France.

I think this is an abridged version of the TV series with 11 episodes. Currently rating 10. I assume even better and of course more scenes in the series.

Looks younger, probably it's the boy on the right and the boy in shortalls might be a younger brother. Not sure about the time setting. Also a man in tight, faded, blue jeans bibs. Some farm / rural settings. Also other actors like a chubby boy and a nice peeing scene (boys in a line, rear view).

I don't know the complete movie. Many awards.

Chinese title:  向阳的日子 (Xiàng yáng de rì zi).
Rating ~2-3 for now. Movie itself maybe much higher.

Today I could only import file 7 (253 posts from 2016). No new rating 7 posts but rating 6-1. This blog now has 3239 posts. Blog 2 only has 1641 posts but some new files and larger pics rating 10-7. Blog 3 is deleted as had no additional posts anymore.

New post. Some days ago, 7th Heaven was in the TOP 10. I searched for a larger pic of Lucy in beige bibs entering the house, but it's a brief scene and mainly from a distance. New pic on blog 2. I also found this nice sitting scene (side view).

Info 1250: Import update 2219 posts

Today, I was able to import 683 posts (including 20 from yesterday) from files 10 and 4. I also uploaded several new pics rating 7 (not included on blog 2).

So this blog now has even more posts than blog 2.
Mainly years 2015+2016 missing (on both blogs). 2015 is on blog 3 (no pics).
Blog 2 doesn't have 2019+2018 and few 2013.
2012 mainly on blog 2. (file 1 ?)
2017 is divided up on both blogs, that's why I didn't import file 9.

Pics of posts rating 7-10 are almost complete. Rating 8-10 (larger pics) on blog 2 (dated 2020), Rating 7 divided on both blogs.

In 2 or 3 days, I probably import posts from blog 2 and I hope that the new pics/links work. Then, I will also have the new posts, the pages like topics and the A-Z lists.

Update: FR another 764 posts imported=2984 posts. Files 5+6 completely. Maybe 2 files because I haven't posted anything on that day.

I only have checked this briefly. I assume rather few bibs scenes.

Info 145: Import update and pics

The first 252 posts have been imported from blog 3 to this blog (last posts 2020- partial 2019). More details on blog 2.
I think, I will continue blogging here.

Pics:

Blog 3 has most posts but no uploaded pics, just some what remains on Wordpress and some few Picasa and embedded pics. Some more posts and maybe pics via archive.org but missing the last year. As of May 9th 2020, blog 3 doesn't have posts that are available on the 2 other blogs, so I deleted it.

Blog 2 has manual uploaded larger pics rating 10-7 (7 partial) and some of new posts/reposts. But many rating 6 and less and the remaining rating 7 posts there are missing. Mainly 2020, 2019, 2018, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013. Compare the monthly archive.

Blog 1 (this one) has some posts, that are missing on blog 2 (~ 256 posts increasing each day, from 2020-2019 and then earlier). Pics are currently missing.

New imported posts with rating 10-7 (7 partial) have larger pics on blog 2. New rating 10-8 pics currently only on blog 2.

I will start to upload pics of posts rating 7 that are missing on blog 2 here Today mainly Christy 1994 series, Avonlea, Huck Finn 1979 and Süderhof.
