Update 2: Where the Red Fern Grows (1974)

 

I'm still reading the novel (for months as I don't like it, now at 2/3 with one brief mentioning, no post yet). I'm also rechecking movies on my HD recorder including this one. I already had the pic of the main character in the main entry (rating 6, I don't like him and his longer hair, pic 2 on left), but the other boy is better than remembered. The 1st update had 3 pics including these 2. Red shirt or are these long johns?

The 2003 remake starring Joseph Ashton is much better (rating 8) also with 2 teen boys in bibs.
