Update: I have seen the beginning. I don't like it as she's very thin. Bib at low position. After 10 or 15 minutes, she wore something else, so obviously fewer scenes than first assumed. And I haven't seen any other actors. Rating 3 was correct.

Aka "The Incredible Kids" and “The 5 Kung-Fu Kids” which belongs to the same film series in Germany called Lucky Kids. Chinese title: 歡樂五福星.

Quite good and funny movie. Skating is also nice and even cooking in bibs.

Has been aired several days ago, but I missed it almost completely.

So needs to be rechecked. But there are definitely better movies.

Starring George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg. Nominated for 2 Oscars.

Books 64: Will Fellows: Farm Boys + Wilder: Farm Boy

I'm currently re-reading some of my older books. I recently found some children's book, but probably bibs shown on the cover only (coming soon).

First "Farm Boys - Lives of Gay Men from the Rural Midwest" by Will Fellows. 322 pages.

A very interesting book telling the coming-of-age stories of some gay farm boys from the 1910s up to the mid 80s but mainly the 1960s. It includes original, small b&w photos, some few (4) showing boys in bibs and shortalls but these are not very good.

Some descriptions of wearing bibs, probably all or most wore bibs but not mentioned it. I'm currently on page 192.

Page 36: An 8 yo boy in the late 1910s was a water boy wearing bibs and a bandanna.

Page 180: A short story of a teen boy in the 1960s who was spanked and thrown bibs to him, the only thing he should wear. Also mentioning blood on his bibs.

And many other interesting plots involving brothers, neighbors and animals.

Before that, I continued reading "Farm Boy" by Laura Ingalls Wilder (Little House on the Prairie, rating 6). I think no bibs scenes in there but nice desciptions and drawings including the one-room schoolhouse of Almanzo, her later husband. In the 1870s and 80s, they mainly wore pants with suspenders (see the Western entries and blog).

After rechecking the famous 1990 movie (boys, girl, rating 5), I found some trailers of this upcoming remake.

Beverly is older than in the 1990 movie. I can't say much more, yet.

Also cycling scenes (unknown if in shortalls or bibs), nice shiny shorts scenes (at least 1 boy, in red shorts, other blog rating 6-7 for now), swimming in tighty whiteys.

For the shortalls, rating 4 for now only. I doubt, that this movie is better than the first one. At least concerning actors and bibs. Update:  2 other girls in shortalls (brief scenes at 11) and a girl in long rare bibs without bib.

Update: Canicule (1984)

I wanted to replace my tiny pics of this movie. I haven't found, yet the original pics from Felix (unfortunately he closed his blog, I think I have higher res pics on an old PC or backup), so I checked an online stream.

Sorry for the bad image quality. I don't like this actor, 16 yo but much younger looking David Bennent (The Tin Drum, Die Blechtrommel) but bibs are interesting. He's wearing a belt and also has his bib down (touching and hanging down over the belt).

Update: Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain

I have rechecked this movie (as usual at high speed) and there are some more and even better scenes than assumed/remembered.

14 or 15 yo Christina Ricci cycling, but also soaked wet scenes (adding tag wet). But I think no or few (good) rear views.

Women in blue and khaki bibs. Most are all straps are tied and not the usual braces.

The image quality of this stream is quite bad and I haven't found the first pic, so leaving the older tiny ones.

Update: Power Rangers

During the replacement of the tiny pics, what I either haven't found for this series or the quality was too bad, I found these 2 new pics. I had problems finding good scenes. Either too fast movements or headshots or from a distance. Also few boys in bibs. But I already have some good pics.

I recently found a short clip on one of my VHS tapes and made a screenshot, but forgot to save it, as I was busy and happy, having found one of my unknown movies. This is not on the same tape and I currently don't have the time to check all my tapes again.

The pic shown is an older pic and maybe it's the boy on the right wearing bibs. At least with a similar haircut, but maybe another, older boy, maybe from the team or a local boy. Definitely not the blonde boy on the left. First I thought, that it's from "Phares d'ouest" (rating 6), but I have checked all episodes of that online.

I only have a very brief scene with the boy in bibs walking and standing (outside the ship) and either headshot, pics of the legs or from a distance. So it's not worth much, posting a pic. He was accompanied by a younger boy kneeing on the ground but not wearing bibs.

Rating 3-4 for now for the bibs scenes, much higher for the series. Some nice scenes, similar to Phares d'ouest and Fleur de Lampaul - Jeunes marins reporters. The blonde boy also wearing purple shorts (but not shiny shorts). I assume very few bibs scenes.

I also found 2 more headshots of an Australian boy of an unknown movie on my shiny shorts blog. Can anybody help there?

I recently found this during research for my Western blog (other boys, rating 4-(6) for now). I thought, I already had this there.

This episode is currently not available online and season 5 is not on DVD. There are several pics showing him in bibs like on his official site. So pic needs to be updated later.

There are also some other boys and teen boys in this series, but I currently don't know of any others in bibs.

In the first 1st 2017 special there was a man in baggy bibs as seller at the end.

In the regular, daily show (afternoon) there are very few kids and no or no notable bibs scenes. Maybe once or twice (girl and/or woman ?).

By checking my old PC and finding more pics of an unknown (different) movie on my sailor suit blog (please also take a look there), I came across some more pics of this one (I knew, I had). I upload them, in case that somebody might recognize movie or actors.

I still think, that's a boy in bibs (pics 1+3, 4 on the right). Maybe a British (drama) movie, aired ~1989/1990 on Dutch TV. Mom is in Berlin (divorce plot?). Somehow the man looks German. Kids dressing like Mexicans using carpets. Who can help here?
