Update: Summer Magic

Recently, I came again across this 1963 Disney movie, probably as a YouTube recommendation of a similar movie, maybe searching for pigtails or Haley Mills.

I already had an early, 2011 post with a tiny pic. I still haven't seen the complete movie, just some short clips. Sorry.

The boy (Jimmy Mathers) is obviously even much younger and smaller than first assumed. He's also barefoot in bibs. I also have to check it for the other boy in bibs (probably not Eddie Hodges but a younger (~11 yo) boy in light blue bibs?)

Nice, but typical Disney film with a 1900s or 1910s setting. There are many similar (Disney) movies, also with older boys in bibs like "Rascal". Also reminds me of Pollyanna (again Disney, again 60s, again Haley Mills, again a boy in bibs).

I think still rating 6.

One pregnant young lady called Lisa (Sontje Peplow, *1981, so around 20 yo) in black bibs in yesterday's ep 879 (rebroadcasting of old episodes 15+ years ago). Also sitting. Maybe continued in today's episode.

I haven't noticed any others in bibs in the last 50 episode. (I don't watch the recent episodes). But in total there are several girls, women and some boys in bibs.

Yesterday I have roughly rechecked this DVD, rating 7 (mainly for shiny shorts). Several interesting scenes of both boy and girl in bibs. As I only had 2 tiny pics, I captured now these pics.

Schloss Einstein – ep 889 on TV

Has not been aired yet but tomorrow (FR) on 14.35, rebroadcasting on MO 14.10.

Several farm scenes of this teen girl and older teen boy, near the end of the episode. First female in season 20.

Quite good sitting scene, they both fall back over. Also funny, touching each others butt should be not on purpose while walking backwards, embracing and the like. Girl also sitting in a wheelbarrow. I think characters are brother and sister in the series.

I don't like red or pink bibs and don't like these actors, especially not this boy. But maybe rating 5-6.

Usually I don't check episodes before it's airing. I found it by coincidence checking for today's teen girl in pigtails (ep 888), soon on my pigtails blog.

Update: Frog and Wombat

I found some parts on a VHS. And there are at least 3 or 4 girls in 4 different shortalls and bibs and I now also found a woman, shirtless in bibs (48 yo Lindsay Wagner).

The light blue shortalls are maybe hickory striped, the other light blue shortalls on the main entry are checkered. Bibs of the chubby girl and the other shortalls are plain, faded blue, same as the woman's.

Obviously many scenes (mainly shortalls). Also starring Ross Malinger (bot probably not in bibs).

I have 3 other episodes here. There are still problems with the apostrophes at the blog search, as the simple, straight typewriter apostrophes won't work in the post text but title. One post has a different apostrophe, but so someone can at least find something no matter if he types it or copy it. Same problem for other titles, especially "L'instit". Search for "instit" and/or check the A-Z list, search for actor or director names etc.

Checking some 80s series for my shiny shorts blog, I found her by coincidence.

Interesting series. My favourite actor here is Todd Porter. I haven't found any others in bibs.

Melanie Gaffin also wore white, striped bibs (sitting in a wheelchair) in the 1987 ep. "God, The Universe And Hot Fudge" of CBS Schoolbreak Special (no entry yet). And also in "Armed and Dangerous" (1986) in light blue shortalls with a white pattern (coming soon, rating 5-(6)).

She also appeared in other famous series like The Wonder Years, St. Elsewhere and Growing Pains (but probably not in bibs, at least not in Growing Pains).

I like raw denim bibs. Rating 5 for now. I haven't checked the complete series of 18 episodes.

–Comment: Austrian farm woman Sofia in rare grey working bibs with neon yellow parts (ankles grey) and also regular dark blue working bibs, also sitting. And a man in a wheelchair in blue working bibs (one strap loose). Later I've also seen a pic of 22 yo German celebrity Melanie Scheer in these rare grey/yellow bibs doing farm work.

Ep. 484: "Melli und Sandra" has been aired yesterday, but I've only seen the beginning. So I haven't pics of Melli. Sorry. I don't like these kind of ladies, anyway.

I used to watch this series some years ago and there are also kids (probably none in bibs ?). Maybe there are some more ladies in bibs in earlier episodes. I think also Lederhosen scenes.

Funny series, often touching. But it's always the same thing. 2 extremely different wifes have to make the job for I think 2 weeks of the other.
