-Comment: Devin Douglas Drewitz (pictured) in bibs and rubber boots, looks even like raw denim at another scene in the trailer, so maybe 2 different pairs? and a woman (aunt) in blue bibs (open jacket).

I don't know the complete movie but it looks very great. However I assume rather few or medium bib scenes. Also starring Marthe Keller, John Neville and Jason Priestly. Good Canadian movie and nature + animal scenes. Not to be confused with the 2003 movie by Michael Haneke which poster is sometimes shown together with this movie. Aka "Animal Tales: Time of the Wolf". Not sure about the time of setting. Cars and props looks like the 1950s but rural setting. Novel is set in ~1890s.
 
Drewitz also starred in "MXP: Most Xtreme Primate". I have an entry on my other blog (Story 6: Fake Lederhosen, rating 3, not him in Lederhosen).

I have to check this again completely. Rating even 8 for now. 

Update, also another great scene, raw denim walking rear view (distance at school) and also a girl in shortalls bibs, and probably another girl boy in bibs but closed jacket. In the novel he's 11 yo.

Update 2: 2 more brief bibs scenes. And another raw denim regular jeans. Occurrences was low now medium. Avaiablable on several DVD compilations.
