Road to Avonlea – s3e4

Has just been aired. Zachary Bennett in the same striped bibs (appearing plain light blue from a distance but are striped, simple straps on the rear, pic 2 at the beginning, previous pics in s2e12). Great walking and also sitting on a cart (mainly side view and headshot). S3e4 "When She Was Bad, She Was Horrid, Part 1". IMDb says s3e2, other streams called this s3e8 or s3e1. Double episode. Maybe different episode numbers in different countries. (Same as The Waltons). Ep numbers according Fan Wikias and wunschliste.de.

Some, much better scenes of the fat boy at school (looking like Poetry, sitting behind Felix at 36 minutes), still don't know his name (previous pics in s2e13). Probably a different pair (same style), in raw denim. Front+rear view walking outside including fighting but from a distance. Sitting and headshots inside. Some characters are played by up to 4 different actors like Montgomery Dale (2 twins). Maybe it's Tyler Labine, brother of Kyle. He is only credited in 2 other episodes, including s3e3 Another Point of View. Looking a bit different and has longer hair. Maybe filmed later?

Also one older teen boy in olive or similar bibs at the docks.

As announced, Zachary Bennett in light blue striped, quite tight bibs but with an open jacket. Also walking upstairs. Episode A Mother's Love. And playing Ice Hockey in s2e13 (Misfits and Miracles) with a closed jacket.

I hope for more scenes. I think season 3 starting today.

I prefer the plain blue baggy bibs.

–Comment: As announced, I've recently seen a trailer of this. At least Finley Hobbins in dark blue bibs, I think set in the 1940s. 11 yo, maybe a bit younger when being filmed. Also at least one man (pic 2). Probably some more supporting actors at the circus? The bibs might even be raw denim, hard to tell as most scenes and pics are either dark or backlit. Maybe he also wore different pairs?

As this is new in theaters, I don't know this movie, yet and only saw some pics and trailers. Most trailers only have one very brief scene from a distance, but some others have these and other scenes, also a close up headshot, 90 degrees tilted, wearing a hat and partial rear view.

Looks interesting, but he also wore other clothes like pants with suspenders. So I assume rather few (good) scenes.

Rating at least ~6 for now. Needs to be rechecked later.

Probably a good but typical Disney movie. Based on the 1941 animated movie.

I can't say much more. Rating ~3 for now. I assume rather few scenes. Also rural/farm content.

I haven't found bibs scenes of females in ep 6.

It's not Michael Longstaff who is fat as well but taller (pic 3 in the middle, white sleeve) and not Miklos Perlus, so uncredited on IMDb. Can anybody help? I didn't expect bibs in the winter episodes.

Also Zachary Bennett playing ice hockey in new, blue striped bibs but with a closed jacket. Same pair appeared much better in s2e12 (coming soon).

I also found (probably) Brendan Leufkens in brown bibs and a boy in blue bibs in s3e8 and Davey in s6e11 (coming soon).

Mickey's Fun Songs: Campout at Walt Disney World

Another entry of the 3 Mickey's Fun Songs. I only have checked this briefly and only noticed one girl in medium blue shortalls also cycling.

It's obviously Michelle Montoya *1982, so around 11 yo in 1994.

Very similar like Kidsongs, also starring Christian Buenaventura (but not in bibs).

Rather few scenes mainly at the beginning. Pic from song The Caissons Go Rolling Along. Also a girl in pink shortalls at the intro (probably not in the clips) and Mickey Mouse in brown bibs. 2 more girls in blue and pink shortalls at the Beach Party episode.

Update: The Magician’s House

I have checked the complete series (at high speed). Next to Katie Stuart in faded blue bibs (more scenes than assumed, bib at low position) there's also a woman in brown bibs (brief scene in ep 11) and Katie (or another girl) in beige shorter bibs/shortalls (pictured in ep 12, both suspenders down).

Some great sitting scenes of Stuart. Pic 1 in ep 4 and pic 4 in ep 1, in both standing up. Another sitting scene, sitting on the floor /door step in ep 3.

Unfortunately, she almost always wore an open jacket over them. 2 more new pics in the main entry (also hands in pockets and without jacket).

–Comment: Some time ago, during research for VR (and Dust Bowl and The Great Depression), I found this 4 minutes clip on YouTube. It's mainly about the book by Nathan Crook.

The pic is a photograph showing a boy sitting in bibs. There's another boy on the left who might have bibs under the vest. Pic probably included in the book. Maybe there are some more. I don't know who's the photographer. (I can't remember having seen this on either FSA nor NCLC on loc.gov). Ohio and Midwest. Not sure about the exact time setting. Could be later than the 1870s; I think bibs were rarely worn before.

Nice sitting scene. But for the brief scene/pic I can only give rating ~3. I don't know the other episodes.

There's also a 2005 movie sequel called “Manderlay” with at least black men in bibs, ladies at least in bibs-like dresses and/or aprons. And there are some other stage plays of both movies, but most don't have actors in bibs.

At a quick search of all episodes, I found rather few scenes. And I only noticed one girl at school in black bibs from a distance (pic 5 from ep 3).

The blue bibs are most of interest. But the bib is at low position. Obviously I missed some scenes of the blue bibs And some girls. Series itself is weak and boring.

Die Pfefferkörner – ep 145

An update of 12 yo Sina Michel in today's rebroadcasting of ep 145.

Bibs are quite tight and the bib is at high position. The fabric seems quite thin. Somehow quite unusual. Same for the bib pocket on her left side. Unfortunately rather few good scenes and often headshots and she wore a jacket except at the end. Also in other clothes.

I don't know other episodes of her wearing bibs. But I don't remember them. So upcoming ep. of season 12 needs to be rechecked.

Also nice blonde pigtails of Zoë Malia Moon (I have ep 151 on my Pigtails blog). Not my favourite actors in this season.

Another suggestion. Nice find. Thanks very much! I have briefly checked this. First, I only found some very brief flashback scenes, but some more longer and good scenes including close ups near the end (like at 55 minutes, pic 4) unfortunately mostly in b&w. Also sitting, but either from a distance or headshots. Very few and brief color scenes near the beginning.

Good bibs, bib at high position. But I somehow don't like the actor. Also quite young. Looking like 8 or 9 yo (or filmed earlier ?).

After finding the great 1973 series for my bedroom blog (rating 8), I also briefly checked this remake. I think it's not on DVD unlike the classic but on stream. Johnny Whitaker appeared in both series.

Quite good kids series, but I prefer the classic. Nice monster.

For the shortalls rating 3-4 for now. I assume few or very few scenes. She often wore jeans shorts and dresses.

Rating ~3-4 for this. I prefer the earlier movies. I've checked this modern MGM movies briefly and found many of them on facebook. Very good image quality.

I only have checked this briefly. First, I missed it on TV, then I almost missed it while checking it online. I haven't found this in a French stream.
