–Comment: Several Mennonites in Bolivia in bibs. School age is up to 13 years (11 for girls). Also older teen boys and men shown. And bibs on a clothesline, separated from the girls' dresses. Episode 97: Back to Basic – Überleben statt Luxus. The segment is 17 minutes (boys starting at 10 minutes). Can be watched on prosiebenmaxx. Clip is called "Das geheime Leben der Mennoniten". Rebroadcasting Saturday morning.
Very handsome blond boys. Barefoot at school. Some also barefoot outside. Most have their bib at low position.
In Bolivia is the strictest Mennonite community. And in this school they said was for the 1st time a camera team.
All modern stuff including books (except the bible) and music and electricity is forbidden. But they have a modern looking (electric ?) stove and one young man even secretly has a mobile phone.
Not the first Mennonite documentary but quite good. Unfortunately rather short.
Rating 6-7.
Very similar, probably at least same location in Bolivia:
