–Comment: 2 boys in faded worn bibs at 34 minutes (pic 1, very brief scene, they ran away so also rear view), a boy around 10 or 11 yo also dancing and sitting in a barn (pic 2 at 59 min., some more scenes at least 2 or 3 good scenes), a young man or older teen boy (pic 3, more often shown), a young boy or toddler and some men including very old men in bibs.
As announced I searched IMDb for the tag one-room schoolhouse. Very few movies are tagged and I only found this one concerning bibs and some few for my other blogs.
I haven't found any kids inside that school. Pic 1 looks very good, I wish that there were more and longer scenes (maybe I missed some scenes). I have checked many scenes but not the completete movie.
For that early setting, bibs and scenes are better than usual (mostly beige non-jeans bibs in similar movies if any).
Directed by Maggie Greenwald (The Adventures of Pete & Pete).
Rating 5-6.
The scenes in Fest im Sattel of the blonde boy Paul-Benjamin Schulze in overalls are very good throughout the series. Especially when he is older in seasons 3 and 4. This series would be worth buying on dvd for you. Have a couple of new suggestions for posts. Check out the 1997 tv movie Dein Tod ist die Gerechte Strafe for a boy in blue overalls and the 1985 film Tutta Colpa del Paradiso for a boy in dark blue oshkosh overalls.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm still unsure and currently I think I won't buy it.
My pics are already from ep. 4 and he is looking like 7 or 8 yo and that's very young. I assume tight bibs and a very thin boy.
I prefer US movies like in this post and before purchasing DVD sets, I wait till I have seen better views of him and the older kid.
