I searched my HDD recorder for something to delete and found this one. Very good movie and interesting plot. I'm not sure but I think I have this movie completely on a DVDr but only some short scenes left on my hard disc. So I have to recheck that later. but I doubt for more or better scenes. So rating 2 for the bibs scenes for now and much more for the movie (at least 7).

Also starring Chase Ellison and Michelle Trachtenberg. I think I don't have to tell much more about this famous movie.

Some years ago I bought these kind of movies and remember considering it then. But I wouldn't today. First, they are often on TV, 2nd the boys are very young and 3rd no handsome actors in bibs. Great movie though and good 80s setting.

I found a trailer by coincidence. Aka "Welcome to Yesterday". Release in January.

Maybe an interesting movie about time travel. I think the scene must be in the past at the 7th birthday of the main character. Johnny Weston (born 1988) playing an older teen boy, so the bibs scenes are probably set in around 2003.

I can't say much more about this movie. Maybe there are also others (older actors) in bibs as well.

Rating 2-3 for now for bibs scenes.

Update: I have briefly checked this movie at high speed and only found this scene near the beginning. There are hundreds of supporting actor at a festival. SO it's possible that there are some few more.

Buttoned from waist till neck. Very thin spaghetti straps. Very high triangular back bib and one or 2 short thin straps leading to the front Most scenes are outside on the hills and she often wears a jacket. Cycling, but not alone and on the rear seat. Sitting scenes but side view. Farm/rural content.

Her mom in the movie, played by Elena Uhlig (pic 2) wears similar bibs but one short scene at the beginning only. Also at least one old man in bibs.

Interesting movie and interesting bibs and many scenes, much more and better than thought (rating 6-7) but I decided to give just 6 as she often wears a jacket. Good rear view though.

Novel by Marian van der Heiden. English title "Clara and the Secret of the Bears".

The movie itself is a bit weak. Nothing special.

And still Jonathan Taylor Thomas in light blue bibs at the intro, so much younger than appearing in this season.

Later seasons, as usual, have fewer and fewer bibs scenes. It was the mid 90s (late 1996). All three sons are much older and not shown in bibs anymore.

Patricia Richardson also in few scenes and there are better scenes with her in previous seasons and season 7 (see Info 272/main entry).

The plots are mostly also getting weak and weaker. But still a great series.

So rating 4 for this season only (still running).

Quite interesting early 80s series. As mentioned I found it during research. Nominated even for an Emmy.

Although I prefer males and dark blue bibs and usually don't like those High School series, but I somehow like the bibs of (on) Amy.  She also wore dental braces. I like the 80s and have to recheck the complete series as there are also teen boys but probably none in bibs.

During research for the recent 90s TV series (like The Parkers) I also found this one as YouTube recommendation. I didn't had the time to check all episodes except for some few ones. I assume rather few (good) scenes and haven't found any better ones like full view.

I can't say much more about this series. Looks like a typical comedy series. There are better ones.

After having an entry for the 1994 series (rating 6) I also have checked this movie (mini series in 2 parts) which is a sequel of the series, the 1994 movie and the 2000 movie (which both still needs to be checked). Maybe the 1st movie is just the pilot?

As usual I have checked this at high speed (but most parts). One good close up scene of a boy walking outside wearing faded blue bibs (rear view) and some from a distance. In total  probably few good scenes, mainly these headshots of the boys sitting in class.

So the series seems to be much better, of course as 21 episodes can provide more scenes. Not sure about the time setting of this movie. Might be a bit later than the series in 1912. There is also a much older main character in episode 2.

Story 78: Underwater in overalls and farm work

As announced the movie "Men of Honor" (2000) starring Robert De Niro had been aired 2 days ago.

At the beginning, which is set in 1943 Kentucky there is a black boy around 10 yo in blue bibs. A short running scene which isn't bad. Then jumping into the water with an underwater scene. Also one other view (headshot with straps only) under water which isn't much better.

A bit later also real hard farm work like I've read and imagined in many recent novels. Also 2 old men in bibs.

The rest of the movie is set in 1966 and showing some sailors in sailor suits (a story entry soon on my other blog).

Wet bibs are great but underwater scenes are also interesting. At least one other movie with such scene

I have checked many episodes on YouTube. Unfortunately some episodes, especially of season 2 (with the boys) had been deleted.

Most often shown are girl. Especially the black girl shown in pic 3. Bibs appear baggy, but probably she's just too thin.

There are several other girls in black, beige (part 11) and maybe other colored bibs. Also one in blue shortalls. Most or all girls are preteens. At least one woman in colorful bibs (or shortalls or else), last pic. One young boy, shirtless in  blue bibs in ep 14 (did db1 missed him ?) and one or more teen boys in a sleeveless shirt and very baggy bibs in ep 15 (pic 1, probably 14 yo Jeremy or Jon Torgerson).

I only have checked this series at high speed and maybe missed some of it. Pic 2, 3 and 4 are from unknown episodes (taken from an actress colection on YouTube).

Interesting series, also farm-like contents. Mainly scenes of girls. One girl might be a bit older (13-14 yo), sitting in blue shortalls outside at a fair (collection part 9).

I only have seen 2 very brief scenes of one teen boy. Unless I've seen more, I only can give rating 5-6 for now.

Man with the Gun (1955)

In preparation for today's western "3:10 to Yuma (2007)" which looks very interesting also starring a teen boy and I think some younger boys but most likely not in bibs, I also found the 1957 version which looks even more interesting (2 young teen boys, also riding, but probably also not in bibs), I found this movie.

I didn't had the time to check the complete movie but as I like western and classic movies, I think I can give a 5-6 rating. But not more for the few scenes unless I've seen more.

I found Tom Avni here (by myself). I found out that he appeared in the 1997 edition and with the Hebrew title “פסטיגל"  it's easy to find online. There are some short clips, one with a better image quality but missing the girl and also the complete show is on YouTube.

I noticed few scenes with him (front and rear view) but I don't like it. Looks very childish. The previous posted 2002 edition I like much more (showing girls and teen boys in blue bibs (maybe even Tom Avni as well) , and also a cycling scene, rating 6). Probably other episodes are also worth checking.

I found this by coincidence during research for the 90s teen series ("Parker Lewis"). Two more 90s teen series coming soon (I have just found another one with a young boy and a young woman and also one additional 80s series with teen girls in few minutes during rechecking for pics). First I thought that this is Parker Lewis as this was a YouTube recommendation .

I didn't had the time to check much more episodes but I assume very few (good) bibs scenes if any. I also haven't found any pics showing bibs.

I think I don't like this series anyway.

So rating 1-2 for now until I have seen some more actresses or scenes.

But for bibs scenes, I only can rate 2-3. Probably I have seen it some years ago and will recheck it the next broadcasting. Also completely on YouTube. Twins are an interesting thing (if both wearing bibs).

Home Improvement - s5e22 e23 (boy, girls)

A young girl about 9 yo at the arcades (rear view only) and a young blond boy as younger Randy, both in blue bibs in s5e22. Touching episode about fearing Randy (JTT) might have cancer. The young boy is being lifted high in the air (horizontally). Good scene but somehow in bad image quality (not sure about the DVD).

A young teen girl in a blue bibs and another one or two in a blue jeans dress in s5e23 about a Romeo and Julia play (pic 1). At least one boy actor is well known and appeared in other movies. Maybe the girls are famous as well.

Also a handsome 9 yo boy actor (Nathan Watt) as John Wayne Duke. Good jeans (like in ep. 8) but I think not in bibs. Also acting his older film brother (Sean Murray).

And another "Western" series even showing a teen girl in real bibs. Series aka "Go West".

Yesterday "Hearts of the West" had been aired and so I found this series with a similar title.

I don't have the time to check the complete series. But looks very very interesting. Though not a real Western.

Today is a Western themed day on a German channel. So that's the last (by now) movie I found during research for Western movies (or was it by searching for movies with Matty Roubert ?)

Matty Roubert was a child star (also shown in sailor suits) and also starred in Westerns (as grown-up). The Universal Boy (1914) is also a lost movie.

The pic is from the magazine "Film Flashes" (available on archive.org) originally found on the silentcomedians forum. Unfortunately this movie is probably like most other similar movies considered lost.

Not much is known about this movie, not even the actors. Produced by Powers Picture Plays. Not to be confused with "Some Fish!" (1916), a British movie.

So I can't say much more about this. (Any help is appreciated.)

As I like these classics. Rating 3 for now. The boy seems quite young.

Some kids also appeared in today's westerns. But I haven't noticed any in overalls.

As announced, this had been aired today (very early in the morning, like other dramas on this channel at weekends). So I only have seen the last 30 minutes. I only noticed this brief scene during pregnacy. It's possible that there are some more.

Also starring Harvey Keitel and Brad Rowe. Film rated R. I wonder why such movies are being broadcasted in the morning.

I don't know what else I should tell about it. Handsome blond lady, but probably very short scenes. There are much better movies. IMDb rating 4.4.

Cycling scenes but probably none in bibs. I don't have the time to check all of it at slow speed. The girl also wearing a white blouse and sailor collar (soon on my other blog).

During research for some 80s movies, I found this on YouTube. This rare movie is still not on DVD. I wonder why. Just on VHS (OOP) and maybe on some DVD-r. Aka "The Quest" and "The Go-Kids".

Webfinds and recent TV broadcastings (a broadcasting with a young pregnant woman coming soon) will be posted first, so people will be able to watch it or a rebroadcasting that is still available or coming soon, before getting deleted.

I remember watching this exciting movie in the late 80s and/or early 90s and I like it. Nice lake and monster scenes. Directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith who also did some other interesting adventure and horror movies (BMX Bandits, Leprechaun 3, Flipper (1995)).

I think rather few scenes, so rating 5-6 only (movie even a higher rating). I have to recheck it and haven't seen rear view scenes or other good scenes (there might be) .

Australian movies make me think of coveralls. In yesterday's episode of Home Improvement there were men and women in blue astronaut's coveralls.

-Comment: Another one from the "missing Felix list". I only noticed this little unknown blond pigtailed girl in dark blue bibs, around 8 yo at about 6 minutes.

The movie mainly covers the 1970s and later, but not sure about the beginning. It should started in 1967 or the 70s.

Quite interesting coming of age movie and I even have seen it and have some few scenes recorded (but not this one). Some good scenes of boys at different age in tight jeans (set in the 70s) but probably none in bibs.

I used to watch "these kind" of movies but I doubt that I would like it nowadays. I will watch it the next broadcasting.

Few good scenes, very few bibs scenes and as mentioned before, I don't like the 70s at all.

So rating 2 for this brief scene. Movie would get a higher rating (maybe 4-5). Aka Crazy.

On the missing Felix list there is a movie called "Nickels (1996)". I couldn't find a movie with that title. (Though found a completely different one from Nickelodeon during research, but with a very brief scene).

Russian title "Цветик-семицветик" what means The Last Petal or the Flower with 7 Colors. There are also other movies with the same name (including cartoons) and at least one 1977 sequel. Alternate titles are "Cvetik semicvetik" and other similar transliterations.

Short film based on a Fairy Tale. 7 wishes for 7 petals. 25 minutes. Completetly on YouTube.

I can't say much more as I don't understand Russian. Maybe a typical 60s movie.
