-Comment: At least this young black (rural) boy, about 10 yo in dark blue bibs. Also acting other boys (also in white baseball clothes) and I think at least a girl in a sailor dress /sailor fuku (few scenes). Also scenes without clothes (but nothing much to see).

English title "Mac Arthur's Children", Japanese title "瀬戸内少年野球団". Novel (trilogy) by Yū Aku. Almost nominated for an Oscar. Set just after WWII during occupation.

Looks quite interesting and it's quite rare showing a black boy in a Japanese movie.

There is a 1997 sequel called "Setouchi Moonlight Serenade".

I don't have the time to watch the complete movie at slow speed and will check it the next broadcasting. In parts on YouTube.

There should be a DVD (not sure about non-Japanese versions).

Rating 3-4 for now.
