Father Is a Bachelor

B&w family film starring William Holden
-Year: 1950
-Year in film: ~1880s
-Country: USA
-Who in bibs: 3+ boys ~10
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes
-Bib occurrence: medium
-Rating:  6/10
-Rating: ******
-Comment: At least three orphaned boys in bibs, at least two barefeet (pictured), I think one must be Wayne A. Farlow or his twin brother Warren Farlow (1940-2010), who also starred, both also in "Dallas"), probably the right one. I can't tell the color of the bibs for sure, but on a (colorized) lobby card they look light
brownblue.

I don't had the time to watch this movie completely, but I assume rather few bib scenes. One also at a lake. Rural/farm content.

I'm also not sure about the time of setting, but there are also other historical clothes and props which look like the 1890s or even earlier. So also something for my other blog. Also starry Gary Gray (1936-2006), Coleen Gray and Billy Gray. Boys are called January, February, March and April.

This romantic/comedy movie looks quite interesting, rating 6 for now.

Setting obviously before 1900. (No cars but horse carriages, partly western setting). Definitely after 1853. Maybe around 1870 and 1880.

Update: I have bought this on DVD. Still rating 6-7. Update:
