Family film starring Jonathan Lipnicki
-Year: 2000
-Year in film: 1970s ?
-Country: Germany, NL, USA
-Who in bibs: girls ~11
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Bib occurence: very low
-Rating: 3/10
-Rating: ***
-Comment: 2 young girls in front of a school; one on light blue shortalls, one in dark bibs (pictured). Only short scenes at the beginning and after about 30 minutes. Both also shown from behind and the one in the dark bibs also close-up. I think also sitting in the classroom, but hardly to see from behind.
I don't like this movie version, although some few funny scenes like vampire cows hanging upside down like bats and have red eyes. (Farm content but no bibs there). Both main actors are quite young, Lipnicki very small. There are other kids like 2 older boys which scenes are a bit better, also the end. But most of the film is boring.
The two earlier series are much better (see also my other blog for the vampire boy in Lederhosen). Also here "Der kleine Vampir - Neue Abenteuer" with a boy in light blue bibs (rating 4).
Novels by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg; film rated PG. Also starring British Rollo Weeks as Little Vampire. German Film Award in gold and nominations for a Young Artist Award for both boys.
Film and bib scenes rating 2-3.
