The 1st of the 2 latest purchases. Thanks again for the suggestion!
2 quite short bib scenes, first bib scenes at 40 minutes, and one very long scene at the end 1h04 - 1h27. First I was a bit diasappointed and considered rating 5 but the end is very good. Swimming in the river, but I remembered only (good) wet scenes showing from behind. 3x lying on the stomach and sitting on the ground. Boy is quite young, maybe filmed earlier than 1998, he looks younger than 12 or 13. A teen girl (Brooke Nevin) in tight jeans and shorts, also a woman, but no other actors in bibs than the boy, except for some black men in green coveralls.

The movie itself could be much better. Some action scenes, typical good landscape and animal scenes, kidnapping scenes, camping scenes etc. The plot is about elephant hunters and also showing a typical brother-sister relationship. Those two and a black boy chasing the hunters. Some few touching scenes. Could be worse. Also starring Lori Hallier; directed by Timothy Bond.

Not to be confused with the 1995 movie of the same name (also a family movie set in Africa, starring Brooke Shields, showing leopards instead of elephants). There are even 2 1995 movies among others. There is a trailer titled Running Wild (1998) but showing a clip of the 1995 film. There is also a shop selling a 1997 DVD with this image and a 1998 DVD without pic. No idea what to get there. Haven't found any clips, so I just bought it.

Available on both RC1 and Dutch RC2 DVDs (last with English audio and Dutch subtitles). No extras except for some non-bib trailers. 4:3, good image quality.

Rating 7-8, 8 only because of the end of the movie.

There is also "Rent-a-Kid" starring Cody Jones with a very young girl in bibs.
