-Year in film: 1960s ?
-Country: Germany
-Who in bibs: Leila ~29 ys
-Available on DVD: yes
-I own: yes, TV recording
-Bib occurence: low
-Rating:  2/10
-Rating: **
-Comment: I think this must be 29 yo Brigitte Grothum as 18 yo Leila (together with film aunt Elisabeth Flickenschildt). I'm not sure if these are real skirtalls or just a longer skirt (over knees) with an apron or similar attached to it (for working in that Thames inn). At least look like bibs. Backside with crossed suspenders down to the skirt. Very good and typical German Edgar Wallace film, starring Joachim Fuchsberger, Klaus Kinski and others. And funny elements of Eddie Arendt. Produced by Horst Wendtlandt. Perhaps one of the best films in this series (except for "Der Frosch mit der Maske" and maybe one or two others). US title "The Inn on the River". There is a trailer and other clips on YouTube but I don't want to link from the original producing company. Good film, but for "bib" scenes rating 2 only.
