Info 53: History overalls manufacturing, new blog

Another historic infos. I search further for underwear. There are some websites about vintage clothing, ads etc. but often they sell those ads or even clothes. One good site of original (also short summer underwear) is

Those underwear existed, but I wonder who bought it. Perhaps many just couldn't afford it in the 1920s and 1930s. Or it was used as sleeping garment or else or only at some colder regions.

Via those vintage ads I found a sign of "Duck Head Overalls" Union made since 1865. Perhaps one of the oldest dates, but I'm not sure if these are really one-piece overalls.

Also I found via a Headlight  (Crown - Headlight) ad this good blog, which I will follow. Interesting vintage images (including women), ads,  time books and manufacturing pics.
