Also starring other, mainly young girls including Taylor Anne Reid and 13 yo Alexandra Purvis. Also starring Ian Tracey and James Kirk. But no others known in bibs yet. I mainly checked  episode 2 (plot rating 10, also see my bedroom blog, rating 4).

I like raw denim bibs and Sci-Fi. But actresses are quite young and I assume rather few good bibs scenes.

So rating 5-6 for now only.

-Comment: At least one boy in bibs. An old man with a beard taking out a box of matches from a boy's front bib pocket. Unknown age. Unknown episode number. In total 201 episodes, 15 or 30 minutes each. No entry on IMDb.

Extremely rare, or better said unavailable and extremely weird series. Based on a 1983 radio series this TV series showing mainly stills and is a parody of aristocracy dime novels. The series is not lost and episodes can be bought from the broadcasters NDR (for a high price).

I found this by coincidence on a movie forum. There is just a brief desrciption and no pics and no clips at all. There's one short clip on the official broadcasting page but unfortunately without any bibs scenes.

Maybe I have even seen some episodes in the 90s but can't remember it. But somwehow I have an imagination of the scene. The young boy on the right. Rather light blue bibs. Half portait. Maybe 9 yo or younger ?

I think this is the first entry of something which I haven't seen at all. But why not adding this for the sake of completion? Maybe it will be available at some time on YouTube or elsewhere or reaired. There are also some novels. Not sure if there are bibs scenes described or even illustrations.

 

Update: Step by Step (1991)

  

During research I came across again on Step by Step, rating 6.

Staci Keanan was already known (pic 1 and pic 3). Looked much older than 16 yo to me. Now I also have checked some other episodes and found this teen girl in nice shortalls, probably Christine Lakin (about 11 yo in ep 5, also sitting, later also in ep 14).

Pic 3 is from ep 1, pic 4 from ep 14. There are also boys and men in bibs. For more infos see the main entry.

I have also found the clothes line scene in The Sullivans (1944)

Had been aired yesterday. Also on the "missing Felix list". I missed the beginning 5 minutes and some minutes before the end. (Update: A good sitting scene inside at ~5 minutes but headshot only.) About 4 or 5 short scenes of the teen boy, but often dark lit. One scene lying down. One scene running and vomitting. Some others walking, standing and sitting on the floor. No good rear view. Only one notable scene of the young boy.

I had problems finding the complete movie online and was lucky for this broadcasting. The movie itself is also good. Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum saving the world and fighting against aliens. 1 Oscar. Movie and bibs scenes better than thought/remembered. But I wouldn't buy it. Good plot but I somehow don't like these actors. I like baggy bibs. But rather few and short scenes. I rarely buy mainstream movies.

Rating 5-6.

Pic showing the preview in the previous episode about Darwin (available online at zdf/tivi). The online version missing the last few seconds where she is sitting showing that this (or other clothes) are most likely shortalls with blue tights underneath. I will update this after airing. There's also one pic on the web which look like shortalls.

I like this time-travel series (especially her older film brother) in tight dark blue jeans. Lots of interesting stuff of the past, inventors and ancient clothing (also see my sailor suit blog, rating 3). Another teen boy as guest in the upcoming episode.

But no other actors/actresses in bibs known yet. Maybe there will be other actors in bibs in the present time or even in the past one day.

Rating 3-4 for now.

Update: New, better pic uploaded. They were shortalls indeed. Very short and tight shortalls. Backside one suspender otherwise looking like jeans shorts. Also cycling at the beginning but from a distance. Sitting at the end but bad view.

Although I don't like shortalls I somehow like them on this girl. Several scenes in between the ancient stuff as usual. Rating 6 now.

Löwenzahn - s28e16

In this 2009 episode about horses "Pferde - Der rettende Sprung" s28e16 a young boy (around 8 yo) riding backwards on a horse and lying on his stomach in dark blue shorter bibs. One brief scene at 3 minutes.

Looks like riding lessons, not sure if for handicapped kids or maybe a child circus. For this episode rating 3 only, although I like riding and dark bibs.

Now, episodes can be watched again online at zdf/tivi. Famous German educational series since 1981. Even with a male host in different bibs and also some other kids, teens and women in bibs. Unfortunately rather few good scenes.

Completely on YouTube. I found this by coincidence next to many other classics (including Esther Waters, see my sailor suit blog rating 3 for a teen boy in sailor suit).

Interesting Western set in WWII with many scenes of this teen girl what is very rare. But as mentioned few good scenes. I can't say much more as I only have seen it at high speed.

So rating 3 for now only.

I don't like this movie (but have only checked it at high speed/partly). Many war scenes of WWII. This is a true story. But few bibs scenes and few scenes of kids.

No wonder why there's no DVD (except for some DVDr). Starring Brandon Douglas and Ned Vaughn. Novel by Sandra Weintraub.

Rating 3. Maybe would be higher if more scenes and/or better quality.

Darius McCrary in light blue bibs (s3e03 ?), Cherie Johnson in blue shortalls in s3e03 (pic 3), also sitting. one other teen girl /young women in light green bibs (intro) is this Cherie Johnson as well? and Bryton James (aka Bryton McClure in light blue bibs and probabyle shorter bibs and earlier medium blue (non jeans bibs, end of season 2? looking more like a toddler), pic 3 (s3e02) as Richie (first I thought that this is a girl). Probably more actors/actresses in bibs in other episodes.

Funny series (but only Jaleel White). There are many other series with Afro-American actors like Bill Cosby. I have to check out more episodes. Few clips on YouTube, probably often get deleted.

Probably few good bibs scenes in total. I don't like these sitcoms (concerning bibs scenes).

Rating 3-4 for now.

I found this by coincidence (other TV series coming soon). I have checked many episodes (mainly of season 1+2) but only found this 3 scenes which are all very short. Ashton Kutcher also sitting in these bibs but behind a table.

Although I like raw denim bibs Donna's bibs are much better (also side view and rear view).

I don't like the 70s and tight bibs. Very few scenes mostly only showing parts of the bibs. Older, thin and tall actors. So rating 4-5 for now.

The Waltons - s7e2

Stacy Nelkin, about 18 yo as Catholic girl friend of Jim-Bob in 1978 episode The Calling (s7e2, s7e3 in Germany). Wearing rare blue purple tight bibs, don't look like jeans fabric. Scene at 1h43 on CD1 (beginning of this episode). Later also some other scenes , one scene sitting in bibs (side view) at 2h17. Later also she and Jim-Bob together in bibs (Jim-Bob in hickory striped bibs).

She was climbing up a tree but doesn't look like a tomboy. I thought that she was much younger.

I already mentioned her in the entry of season 7 (rating 9), but without any pics. Rating 3-4 for these tight bibs.

Elizabeth also in bibs in double episode 1 at 1h12 lying on a bed in bibs also dancing earlier alone and with Jim-Bob. Bibs of Elizabeth are very good (medium blue) but they are all very thin and tall.

After season 7 I will recheck season 1 which has lots of interesting scenes of both boys, girls and teens, especially Mary Ellen and Jason. But that will take same time. And I also have to update the list entries.

Yesterday I have seen the end of s7e20 (pic 2) showing a young lady in bibs (sitting, also walking, front view but very brief scenes).

Also Patricia Richardson in s7e19 gardening (pic 1).

I have seen a lot of episodes except the last 2 seasons. I previously just had the 3 brothers and another lady. Rating 6. Series is much better but few bibs scenes in total.

Ma favourite is Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Rating 3-4 for this brief scenes and old mom.

I like fantasy films and this seems to be a famous family film. I'm not sure If I would like this movie. I don't like tight bibs of the late 70s and prefer US movies.

Update: Power Rangers Turbo

Some more episodes of a boy, a man and at least a woman in bibs. Thanks again for that suggestion! Currently all episodes on YouTube. (I haven't checked them all, probably these suggested episodes are all, at least involving boys).

I choose this pics. Pic 1 showing a flying lady in blue bibs (probably Catherine Sutherland as Kat) in 1997 episode s1e11 Weight and See. Also other scenes more close up. Pic 2 showing 12 yo Blake Foster in light blue bibs in episode 10 (several good scenes, also rear view) and sitting (pic below). He also appeared in the same bibs in ep 28 and 37. Fewer scenes there. Ep 37 has very few bibs scenes.

Also at least one young man in bibs (David Yost as Billy, see als Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.)

Very interesting series. All series rating 6. But rather few scenes in total. I prefer darker bibs but light blue fits to his hair.
