I found this classic movie some times ago but still haven't checked it completely. I also somehow assumed an even earlier setting (and hoped for sailor suits as well). One girl in the circus audience has a dress with a collar similar to a sailor collar. Yesterday, by coincidence I had a circus movie on my other blog (Feuerwerk (1954), rating 7-8 with boys and some girls in good sailor suits).

I have to check this again the next broadcasting. Usually I like these classic movies, but don't like just circus scenes.

152 minutes, also starring Betty Hutton, Cornel Wilde and Dorothy Lamour. Lot of actors (in the background) so maybe some quite good (other) scenes of interest.

Can't rate higher than 2 for now until I have seen other/better scenes/the complete movie.

Sorry, I don't like Cher at all (except for some few songs). I think I also don't like this move. Haven't seen it for a long time. I assume rather few bib scenes as she also wears something else.

First a junior firefighter contest (both pics, he's falling to the ground), a bit later he alone I think in a hay loft saved the life of an older man. Set in Berlin (might be a real firefighter team, except Seidel).

Had been aired 2 days ago. I already had this movie but hesitated to add it as you can't see the straps/suspenders and it also might be, that they aren't real bibs. But I think so. It's also the first feature film with junior firefighters yet (the other 9 entries are TV series, partly reality TV). But I kinda like this family film. He also has/had a soft voice (before voice breaking) and is not too thin. Quite entertaining movie. Also starring a film sister (but not in bibs/firefighter bibs), I think it's Emilie Kundrun ("Hanni & Nanni (2010)").

Also starring Tina Ruland, Florian Fitz, Rüdiger Vogler and Gaby Dohm as grandmother.

Rating 6. Good film/plot/actors, although I don't like kids with longer hair. Obviously not yet on DVD. A short clip on YouTube, but no bib scenes/scenes of the kids.

Next episode of "Die Wollnys" (rating 5, no pics), then only fishing bibs and dad in working bibs, Jeremy-Pascal also in blue working bibs.

Info 168: 7th Heaven ep s3e15/16

First I considered something else for today (boy in firefighter bibs, coming tomorrow). Then I thought that today would start season 4 of 7th Heaven, maybe because of the birth of the twin boys. So, now the pics here, I wouldn't add them to the main season entry anyway.

1st pic showing Lucy cleaning the bathroom in black bibs (dark purple straps, ep. s3e15, also some other scenes with her in black bibs, but no good one from behind, mostly headshots). This scene is typical for angry Lucy and I could also made a story entry of that. The bibs are not as baggy as the previous ones, although she's thin. She also wears tight beige pants. Little Ruthie, I think 8 yo in blue bibs and/or skirtalls. The other pics are from ep 16. One black teen girl in blue bibs (supporting actress, I think I have seen her earlier),

Ruthie in purple bibs (few and short scenes). One teen girl in light blue bibs. 2 more supporting actresses but very brief scenes (one black girl in blue bibs, might be ep 15) and one overweighted older teen girl in dark red bibs.

One younger girl (or boy) in the background even looks like if she wears a sailor collar. But it's probably something else, like a hood. Sometimes the straps of a backback look almost like straps of a bib if the person is not shown completely.

Book 19: Bert Langeberg: Growing Up Poor, etc

I bought this book about 3 weeks ago and have read 118 of the 174 pages. The cover depicting the author (born 1939) in 1944 in bibs, who had German ancestors. The text is copyrighted 2007, but maybe published in 2011. Only 2 very brief mentioning of wearing his worn overalls (young author) and another boy in "coveralls", not sure if real coveralls or a synonym for overalls (yet).

Some quite funny and some interesting farm stories, and some scenes even remind me of "The Waltons" but I don't like this book so far. Just another farm childhood memoir.

And I can't see that he was poor. In contrary, he had enough to eat and obviously much fun. He talked about some accidents he had to face and a bit of the farm life. I know how they slaughtered chicken these days, but why doing this on cats and even birds the same way? He also described too much of world events like politics, space missions and what exactly 4-H is. Maybe some folks in Europe don't know 4-H but it could be said in one sentence.

The book has some tiny b&w pics, but often it's unclear what they show (relatives ?). The pics are uncaptioned and might be unrelated and later PD pics. Some few pics of the family, including one bit more of the cover pic.

The book is available as a very cheap PDF (and other ebook formats) download, but I choose the 5x more expensive book on demand as I don't like reading online.

I also bought "Some Things That Stay" (movie rating 8, main character a teen girl, but also boy and teen boy in bibs) but will read it after that.

I'm also reading "Something Wicked This Way Comes" (Ray Bradbury), movie also rating 8, for more than 5 years (I don't remember any bib scenes yet) but I somehow don't like the novel and read other books in between.

Update: The rest of the book is even worse. OK it's his biography. But I expect more farm, childhood (and bib scenes). He also often jumps with the years (some few years back and forth).

Quite good family film (rated PG) also starring Kimberley Warnat, Ashley Aston Moore, Brian Kerwin and Diana Scarvid. Young Artist Award for Anna Chlumsky, but I don't like her in here.

I think I missed some parts of it. Some quite good bib scenes, but I think rather few scenes and I somehow don't like this movie. Cycling scenes could also be better.

Most of the film are animation scenes, In fact I have never watched it entirely except once, long time ago. Maybe there are some scenes in between or at the end. But I don't expect much more. Famous voice actors like Patrick Steward, Leonard Nimoy and Whoopi Goldberg. Also starring Ed Begley Jr..

I had almost forgotten to add this movie. I don't like Macaulay Culkin but this is a quite good fantasy film for younger kids. There are trailers but not showing bib scenes. One song was nominated for a Grammy. Culkin was nominated for the worst actor (Razzie Award).

Looks quite interesting also farm content, but somehow I don't like this Swiss actor.  I also don't like action films. So I can't rate higher than 4-5 for now until I have seen it completely. I don't have the time to watch it completely, but he's rather thin

The movie itself is much better than part 3 (see that entry, rating 2 with a woman in tight red shortalls). Also starring 9 yo Camryn Walling (pictured) but not in bibs (but in very good jeans bermudas) and talking dogs. Funny acting and good setting in an amusement park.  I have to check part 1 (1999), not to be confused with Little Heroes (1992), rating 5 with a girl.

Maybe someone likes her. Typical 90s/2000s movie with talking dogs, but there are much better ones.

Quite good horror movie which had been aired yesterday (sadly I missed the end). Also at the "chicks list". Rated R. It's not the first movie with cabin horror, but could be worse.

I only noticed one short scene with Jordan Ladd and one with the older actress in bibs. Jordan Ladd also showing from behind, the straps are wide and reaching up high at the backside.

A lot of clips on the web, but I haven't found any showing the bibs (of Ladd). There's also a young girl acting in jeans, but not in bibs.

Film rating 5-6 (for what I know), rating 4 for these bibs. I prefer blue bibs and baggier ones.

One more pic to better show the rare bibs of Isabella Wolf in the German series Fluch des Falken, I think from ep. 20. Also showing other actresses, I prefer the girl with the dark round glasses on the right, sadly not in bibs.

I haven't seen these bibs before, more looking like a dress with thin straps, but it's one piece with pants below. Tied together instead of a belt. Looks like very thin fabric, and I don't like it. She's also too thin or too flat on the back.

As announced some updates of 7th Heaven. First a supporting actress just at the beginning of s3e11 (on top). Only this frame (or is it even a teen boy?) But very thin arms, so most likely a teen girl. Some few info updates of the series 3 entry, but nothing more than already announced yesterday.

Story 37: Pink bibs and a pig tail

Lucy Camden from 7th Heaven is wearing pink bibs with light purple straps and some sort of flap at her bottom, looks like a "pig tail" and more like a costume. I have never seen that before. Also hands in or near pockets. And Simon in a blue apron similar to bibs, even with one brace.

I think all from ep. 3.11. There's also a black man in bibs and a young woman at the beginning. I still have to update this season entry and decide what pics to use and what to remove. Updating tomorrow (I will make another new post) . Also ep 3.12 I think only Ruthie in black bibs.

I will check this again.

As announced this 8 rating movie. Though rather few bib scenes I like this movie and actors. Directed by Heinz Fussle. 28 minutes. Available on DVD along 2 other films. I have to check the others as well and even considering buying it. Generally I don't like the 70's but this are the late 70s and the clothes are more like the 80s.

Rating 7-8, but I think I can give 8.

7th Heaven – S3e9

Jessica Biel as 16 yo Mary in quite baggy blue bibs (short scene also running away, showing from behind) and a 16 yo pregnant teen girl (I don't her name, uncredited on IMDb) in wine-red bibs (rose straps hidden by her hair in this scene, 2 short scenes not showing her back, also dancing with the other pregnant girl and the pregnant Camden mom). Also a close up scene of 15 yo Lucy's back (regular jeans) given a piggyback. S3e9.

Fewer and fewer bib scenes in this 3rd season. Mainly supporting (and pregnant) actresses.

Not sure if I should add one of these on my season 3 entry. I already have Mary in bibs and a pregnant supporting actress is also nothing special. Maybe there will be some better scenes later.

No bib scenes in ep 6, 7 ,8 and 10 of season 3. Season 3 is a Christmas episode where Simon gave Ruthie his pajamas as present. But there are better episodes.

Maybe I should make a list of pregnant teen girls and young woman in bibs.

I don't had the time to watch this movie completely, but I noticed only some few scenes at the beginning and at least one in the audience at the end (pic below). Ranch and rodeo riding scenes, but I don't know of any in bibs, probably none. Maybe more actors in bibs, maybe men.

Book 18: Sterling North: Rascal

I bought this novel many weeks ago and have read it almost completely.

I don't like this book. I couldn't recognize the good content and in fact almost none of the scenes of the movie (starring Bill Mumy, rating 6).

Only one brief scene mentioning wearing his overalls and legs rolled up above the knees (page 39). Some scenes mentioning being barefoot and skinny dipping and girls have to wear clothes for swimming.

The main character Sterling is much younger and smaller in the book and there are even the original 1963 illustrations by John Schoenherr published by E. P. Dutton in the recent edition. One of the few simple drawings might show him in bibs but sideview and hardly to see (hands in his pockets).

I own the 2005 Puffin reissue, paperback, blue photo of a raccoon on the cover, 189 pages. Silver Newbery Medal.

I think this Disney movie is probably only famous because of Bill Mumy and the Disney style.

I considered buying some other of my favourite movies and checked this blog until rating 7 (incl) and wanted to buy "De rode zwaan" (rating 10) or "The Enid Blyton Secret Series" (rating 7) but both seem to have very few or no notoable bib content. So I will buy something else.

I have to check this again later. It's not Christmas time yet. There's also a 1966 b&w version (ABC Stage 67 ep S1e13).

Rating 4-5. Actors are quite young and the bibs of the boys seem quite simple. But could be worse.

I like it, but I prefer real jeans bibs.

I found this by coincidence during research for my latest, completely unrelated sailor suit movie. Not sure if this is around. Russian title "Сваты" (would translate Matchmakers). No entry at IMDb.

I can't say more yet and have to check this again later. There are many actors, so it's possible that there are more and maybe also kids in bibs. Rating 3-4 for now.

Update. I have checked some episodes and now have some pics. Pics are from 2011 s5e13 showing 16 or 17 yo Anna Koshmal in shortalls (with a belt), also lying on a bed in this episode. The little girl wears a dress, I think. I think the older woman behind her wearin bibs as well. And at least a man in light green bibs (season 6 intro, 2013). Pic 1 is from the season 5 intro. I think snow bibs (grown-ups and kids) in s6e16 (but probably with a jacket over them only, not sure if real snow bibs as they look modern). Also other scenes like swimwear (s5e2).

I haven't checked all episodes but obviously rather few scenes in total. Most scenes probably with Anna. Haven't seen any boys in bibs. Previously called Svati but original transliterated title on IMDb is Svaty. Still rating 3-4. Episode 1+2 should be movies; 3-6 are TV series. There's also a musical. Separate IMDb entries.

Info 164: Update Dallas

Now I have finally seen the complete 14th season. No more bib scenes than the 2, but very good of Omri Katz (+ a toddler). Also some good ranch and other scenes, including other clothes like shorts, regular jeans (riding), together with Joshua Harris. Also Harris and some other boys in American Football clothes. All together rather few scenes of the boys. Many scenes hadn't been aired in Germany.

I checked some pics and vids of earlier seasons but couldn't find any other in bibs yet (but I still think there might be others, maybe (pregnant) women in bibs). I think I don't need any other DVDs as the boys were (much) younger earlier. Some plots are quite interesting and the end is dramatic.

And maybe there will be some bib scenes in the new series, but it's rather unlikely. Or maybe I find some more scenes of the old one later or someone comments.

The light blue bibs with one strap down and showing the backside of Omri is much better, but no need for adding more pics.

Sorry, I also don't know or don't remember this Hallmark movie. Also starring Angus T. Jones, Rick Hall, Robert Pine and Richard Gilliland. Looks like a typical and quite good Hallmark drama. I like most of them but can't say much more about it. Probably also containing farm content or at least rural. Directed by Sam Pillsbury (Where the Red Fern Grows (2003)).
